We booked for my friend's bachelorette party weekend and it was exactly what we needed. Beautiful location, room for everyone (with 8 comfy beds!!), safe location, and excellent communication with our host. He was almost immediately responsive when I reached out which was so appreciated. 100% would stay here again - no question. We also happened to book during a weekend with a meteor shower and there's no outside light so we were able to see so many shooting stars :) Truly nothing negative to say - Thank you for being a part of such a beautiful weekend for my best friend.

This rental is pretty remote but pretty luxurious for being “out in the sticks”. Just the kind of place we seek out for our adventures! It was the time of year that we wanted to spray on the bug dope when going down to the fire pit but that did the trick and we enjoyed the fire pit immensely. Especially the dog! The large area was well mowed and we sat by the fire and watched “Tater Tot” exhaust himself running from the covered bridge to the shed and back. He doesn’t get runs like that at home and he was most appreciative. We did spot a fox or coyote one morning and kept him close after that. The beds were quite comfortable and if you need white noise or something to sleep, bring it along. After dark it was dead silent in the woods. The covered bridge was charming. We would like to know it’s history. 9 am was a bit of a rush checkout but we made it. Left a few things undone that we remembered on the way home but think we left the place in pretty decent shape. Hope so. Thank you Lord for special places like these!

The property is beautiful, huge, and has all the amenities you need. The host was very communicative and helpful. Plenty of space for our group and a lovely setting.

This property was perfect for our group of 7 family winter getaway! Everything was clean and well stocked with the things we needed to hang out and enjoy. There was alot of seating in the livingroom for relaxing, comfortable beds and nice bathrooms. We would highly recommend this home.

Property was as advertised. Plenty of room for a few friends to simply gather and unwind. Nice property and very peaceful. No one bothered us and there was no long list of chores to do before checking out.

1st class, well maintained property. Super clean accomodations. Location is super peaceful, located off gravel roads in farm country. House is unique in a very SW Wisconsin way. Many different sitting areas on the decks for relaxing time in nature. Close to Fennimore and Boscobel if you need supplies, etc. Would love to stay here again!

We can't say enough about how awesome our stay was. This is our 2nd year staying here for our annual girls weekend. There was plenty of room for the eight of us, kitchen well stocked, 3 full bathrooms, beds were super comfortable, and we even played our share of pool and Foosball downstairs in the rec area. The location was quiet and secluded. Highly recommend, you will not be disappointed!

Our family stayed here for a long weekend, and really enjoyed it. There were 10 of us, and there was plenty of room for everyone. Pool and foosball tables were great. Multiple decks with great views. The location is beautiful, tucked away and private, with easy access to Fennimore, which has a great municipal pool, parks, grocery store, and a couple neat museums, and Prairie du Chien with tons of history as well as Pete's Burgers, municipal pool and Wyalusing State Park (overlooking the confluence of the Wisconsin and Mississippi Rivers) . Super easy in and out to begin and end our stay. This part of the state is gorgeous...Try this unique property - clean, well-appointed, spacious, modern, and full of surprises.

We really enjoyed our stay. The property is as described and was in very good condition. The location is also great - beautiful driftless scenery and close to the Wisconsin river.

Very secluded property which worked well for several families transitioning from group camping. Great outdoor space and plenty of room in the house for all. Communication good, check in easy, had everything we needed. Able to bring the dog and she loved it too!

Effortless.

Only three things that that could use change. 1. Get a new coffie maker. It kept turning off, we had to re-start it 3 to 4 times to finish the brew. 2. The upstairs bedrooms didn't seem to have AC. 3. Every place we've stayed, checkout has been 11:00am. That gives time to shower and have Relaxing breakfast and packup. When you have 8 people you need time. When checkout is 9:00am and you have to get everyone up at 5:30 - 6:00am it is not a relaxing enjoyable time.

Our group has been getting away once a summer for over 25 yrs and live finding places like this! It was secluded and peaceful with a huge area to play yard games and enjoy the firepit. Will definitely pass the word along to other family and friends who need a large home and property to spend quality time at!

We do a family vacation with our adult children and grands every year. This was a perfect property for our group of 9, plus 2 dogs. We utilized every part of the property including fire pit for s' mores and walking paths. Plenty of room inside as well as our. Nice comfortable beds in all the rooms. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great weekend fishing trip with friends. House was plenty big, clean and location was perfect

This is a beautiful property! We enjoyed exploring the moss covered hills and rocks and watching spring emerge. The house is huge and the upper and lower decks are fabulous for watching sun/moon rises. Playing pool and foosball in the basement room brought lots of laughter. The giant fire pit and firewood supply brought out the light at night! There were many signs/spirits of deer around. I think this is a great place to get together with groups of friends/family.

Booked for a spring break trip for college-age students. 7 of us fit well. Dining room only had 6 chairs, but we found some metal folding chairs to add to the table. House and property were suitable. Wished there was a cake pan since we had a birthday, but it was okay. Took us a second to figure out the upstairs TV had to be on the same channel as downstairs TV. Was definitely worth the trip; highly recommend.

Secluded spacious home with everything you need to enjoy some time away . Still if need be, only 15 minutes into town . Will be back to see the trees fall
