Beautiful house in a wonderful city.

10 mins from train station and old town, very quite neighbourhood, kitchen, laundry, comfortable living room with good tv access and own bedrooms

1. water pressure and temperature setting were off: the bathroom’s shower water pressure was weak and the water was not hot enough while the opposite for the kitchen’s as it was very hot that almost burned my hands. 2. the toilet was not flushing fully. We had to flush a few times to clear the toilet which was annoying.

everything is perfect

It was very cozy and comfortable for a family of 4. It’s just about 15 minutes walk distance from most attractions. It was very clean and tidy and everything worked perfectly.

The stay at Victoria Cottage was perfect. Excellent cleanliness, central location but in a very quiet street, nearby public parking, equipped kitchen, modern and large bathroom, large and bright rooms: in short, everything you need to feel good!

Only the owners can park in the street of the Cottage, even though there were few cars. A pass would have been welcome

Set in a quiet residential area yet only a 10 minute walk into York city centre. The property was beautifully decorated throughout with high qualify fixtures and furnishings.

Shame that the owners hadn’t sought the parking permit which would’ve enabled parking right outside the door. A bin full of rubbish was found in the kitchen upon arrival and no bin bags! Very dusty under the sofa and in various other places and Wi-Fi dropped out on our last evening. Minimal essential consumables such as loo roll and 2 dishwasher tablets which was a bit mean given 4 of us for 3 nights. Would’ve been better to provide more loo roll, kitchen cleaner etc rather that the welcome pack ( although a nice touch). Check in at 4pm and checkout at 10am was also a bit mean given the cost of the short break and the ‘covid’ clean obviously wasn’t that thorough!

Lovely older home on a quiet street. Comfortable and roomy- perfect 1 - 4 people, and convenient to all York sights, shops and restaurants.

There are no kitchen food essentials- salt, pepper, oils, etc.

Everything. Tasteful decor. Comfortable bed and sofas. Well kitted out. Light and airy. Quiet location.

Nothing at all. Parking available 5 mins walk away. Able to park outside property for a short time to load/unload bags etc.
