This house is amazing we really enjoy and spend some quality time with family I definitely recommend this place

This property has a great location for seeing the lake. Meeks bay is a great, kid friendly beach with paddle board and kayak rentals a short walk away. The property is also near to a bike path that is great for bike riding or running. It is also very close to gorgeous east hikes for kids. The property itself is spacious and has gorgeous views of the lake. The house is well stocked and feels more like someone’s home than a typical Vrbo where there is a bare minimum of supplies. There are kids toys, cooking tools, basic pantry items. The rental would benefit from a few easy updates including better cutting boards and knives. It’s not a luxury rental, but it’s good for active families!

The house was as promised! One of our favorites so far. View was spectacular! House well equipped. Saw mama and baby bear looking over balcony. Take bear precautions serious. Lake Tahoe is gorgeous and full of activities such as hiking, biking, golf, kayaking, etc.

We had a great time as there are many things to do nearby. House was big enough for two families (4 adults and 5 kids). We did have a few small issues with wifi and locks, but Tahoe rental company was responsive and helpful. I would stay here again.

Nice location close to Meeks Bay and Sugar Pine Point. Great house for multiple families. Only draw back is it needs some serious TLC. A lot of small things need to be fixed however, it didn’t really make that much difference in the long run as we had a great time.

We came from Kansas to celebrate my husbands 70th birthday! Our daughter and her boyfriend came from Philly. Our son and his wife came from Asheville, NC. It was so easy to get in the garage with the codes, we never used the front door with the bear fence. The minute we walked in we were all in Ah of the breathtaking view! We did a lot of deck sitting in the mornings and evenings, so comfy, for the six of us. We even saw a momma bear with her cub one evening! The house was perfect for the six of us, each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The beds were so comfy! It was very well equipped and we found everything we needed for cooking. We loved the location! We did a hike daily and spent one afternoon at Meeks Bay on the beach. Took a beautiful drive to South Tahoe and found a couple of nice Breweries! We also did a Wine Tasting boat tour, which was fantastic! This was one of our best vacations yet! Thanks, Roxanne

Came for a bachelor party with seven other guys, and this place was the perfect spot for all sorts of activities. Running, hiking, biking, swimming - all very easy to get to and from withing 20 minutes of the house. The kitchen and "play" amenities were great - bumper pool was especially fun. If you are staying with a larger group and looking for a house to suit all your needs - look no further!

This place is awesome and well worth it. The location is quiet but close to the busy parts of Lake Tahoe. The views from this house are beautiful.

Location was perfect, the view incredible, and we enjoyed all the room in this cabin! Comfortable beds, great deck, and really appreciated being able to park 2 cars in the garage. Did not appreciate the musty smell, especially in lower 2 floors, the recurring mouse droppings in kitchen and living room in spite of traps placed by manager, and the game system didn’t seem to work properly. A kitchen light switch had a short which we reported. So overall really great place, just needs some maintenance attention.

We were a large multi-generational family who really enjoyed our stay. The house was large enough and had all essentials. The view out of the back porch was something I will always remember. The location, while away from most restaurants etc, was great and quiet. It was really nice to be able to take a short walk down the hill to a beach with all water activities, etc. Thank you.

We have truly enjoyed every minute of staying here. The view is breathtaking and the surrounding is serene and pristine. We wish we could stay longer.

This house was perfect for our week in Lake Tahoe - plenty of room for our group of 8! The location is ideal for hiking and the ability to walk to the beach was such an added bonus. It's a bit of a drive to restaurants but this house has everything you need. The four different bedrooms gave us plenty of room to spread out and the view is spectacular.

We had a wonderful stay at Meeks Bay! The house is great and the location was perfect for us!

We and our family (including kids, parents, a cousin) stayed here for a week. The view is breathtaking, even better than the photos can capture. Every bedroom had a great view, especially the primary bedroom - wow! There are 2 separate bonus rooms - one with a foosball table and bumper pool table which was so much fun for everyone when we were not outdoors exploring nearby. The home was clean and kitchen well stocked with cookware and dishes. Everyone commented on how comfortable the beds were. Debi at tahoe vr was really responsive and had someone bring a replacement can opener and dish soap when we needed it. The only slight negative was that we did notice a slight smell in the lower levels, as if there had previously been smokers on the property. The washing machine also had a distinct musty smell to it. For us it did not affect our enjoyment of the property.

Very nice place with lots of space. Plenty of places to lounge and chill and for kids to do their own thing. Views are amazing. Be sure to check out Meeks Bay which is just a couple of minutes from the house and is way less crowded than kings beach. You can rent paddle boards and canoes there.

Incredible views from every floor, especially top deck. Lots of room - 3 separate living areas. Meeks Bay Resort and Sugar Pine State Park both close by with beach access. This was a peaceful place to be compared with the busstle of South Lake Tahoe, but we also had general stores, jet ski rentals, rock climbing and hiking close by. Getting down to and back up from the beach took some effort because it is quite steep in places and the trail is not all the way cleared.

The house is exactly as listed. Breathtaking lake views from every single rooms of the house. Everything is in good condition. Bathrooms were all remodeled. Kitchen is a bit tight and dated but we grilled on the deck so it wasn't an issue to us. Beds are very comfortable. Everyone in our family had good night sleep. The management team was very efficient. The coffee maker stopped working on our third day there, called the manager and a brand new one was dropped off on the same day. We went to Tahoe City for activities and groceries. It is about 20 min away, closer than driving to South Tahoe and less crowded. It was a great stay and our family had a great time.

Very nice property on a quiet neighborhood, really good for having a relaxing vacation

This is a great property for spending time in family, and enjoy an amazing view of the lake. The house is just as described. I contacted the host ahead of our stay to ask about the availability of a grill and they quickly responded within 24 hours. We had fun spending time together in the various family rooms and the kids enjoyed all the space to run around and play.

The house was just as described in the listing. Sunrise over the Lake is just spectacular. We were lucky enough to have a light dusting one morning. The family had a lot of room for privacy. Everyone had a good time. The furnishings could use a bit of updating and the deck, a fresh coat of stain. All these are easily overlooked when you look out through the oversized windows into the blue lake and snow-covered mountains.
