We rented this property for our family of 7, all going to a wedding. The space was very comfortable, airy, and nice. The property manager, Maria, was super attentive and responsive to my calls. We had an issue with some neighbors having a party until about 2 am on a Sunday night, but the next day Maria not only apologized but gave us a discount for an extra night we needed to book due to flight delay. She was vey kind and accommodating. My only constructive criticism, is that the house needs a little bit of "handy-man" upkeep. The price per night was not cheap, so I expected everything to be top notch. Most are easy fixes, like scratches on the floor and walls, or drawers and doors without the fixtures. The bed downstairs is also very unsecured. The neighborhood is safe and there are walking options to restaurants. However, it is not in Logan Square and it is not at walking distance from downtown. The kitchen was stocked and the coffee pods where appreciated. We had a fantastic time in Maria's property, and made new family memories that we will treasure forever. I want to thank Maria for her hospitality and for being so flexible.

This house was great for our extended family stay in Chicago for a wedding. The kitchen was well equipped and made it possible to prepare some meals, so it was not necessary to take young children to restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet and felt safe, and although it was not very "walkable" that was not a problem given the ages and composition of our family. We were not able to maneuver a minivan and SUV into the garage from the alley, but had no problem finding on-street parking. The host was welcoming and responsive.

The house was spacious and worked well for our large family group. There was a snafu with the cleaning service prior to our arrival but the host was responsive and solved the issue fairly quickly on a Friday afternoon/evening.

Had a reunion with 5 old friends and this was the perfect spot. Lots of hangout spaces and the kitchen was exactly what we needed. It’s a great neighborhood but not as easy to walk to restaurants as I would have liked. Very well priced!

We stayed here with several young families for a long weekend. The location was nice with great parking availability and close to the highway. The house has several conversation areas and plenty of space for private bedrooms and social areas. The kitchen worked very well for us. The only downside was that there weren’t enough towels for everyone but other than that, no complaints.

Used this property as a home base for a work trip with colleagues. Good neighborhood and the home was as advertised. Clean and comfortable.

Stayed for a long weekend with 13 girlfriends. Owner was communicative and house was clean and nice! Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, cutting boards, etc. Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in all showers. Would stay here again!

I have rented numerous homes in the past 10 years and this house was definitely not a good experience. For starters, this house is not located in Logan Square. Logan Square is a very nice neighborhood and this area felt like the getto. The house is also not walking distance from restaurants and bars unless you want to walk 45 minutes through sketchy streets. The backyard fence was broken, the neighbors live in filth, there was an ant infestation in the kitchen, and we found a cockroach on the counter. Many of the bed sheets were stained and the master bedroom sheets are dark grey (which is a big no no for rentals). There were dirty towels inside the bathroom drawers and the master closet was full of 'stuff' and no hangers. One of the bathroom sinks was clogged (needs a plumber) and the shower handle was broken. The blinds in one of the rooms was also broken. There was no coffee in the kitchen and some of the glasses were dirty. But the worse incident happened when an Amazon/Delivery driver opened the door without knocking to place a package inside the house. How is this ok? This is a serious invasion of privacy! I have pictures to prove all of this. I highly recommend NOT to stay in this property and I will think twice before I rent again from VRBO.

The overall layout of the property was excellent for a large group. Four comfortable bedrooms with 2 bathrooms on the top floor, additional bedroom with bath in lower level. The open floor plan on the main level with 2 social areas was perfect for hanging out as well as the back yard space. This is Chicago city living so houses are very close to each other and noise from people in other houses can be heard. Neighbors were very accommodating when car stereos and loud outdoor conversations were brought to their attention.

This property is lovely. 5 bedrooms (including 1 master suite & a partial 'in law' in the basement). Garage parking and ample street parking was a plus! Close to restaurants and attractions. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting the city - the Avondale neighborhood is wonderful.
