My family gathered to grieve and serve family in Denver after the passing of a loved one. This rental had great location near groceries, food, and coffee shop. At the end of our long days cleaning, organizing, and helping our family we came ‘home’ to beds that were comfortable, clean, and large. The dinning room is spacious and we were able to gather for a meal and play a game together. The house is nearly wheelchair welcome minus the two steps to get inside. I would stay here and/or with Jeff anytime as he was a very respectful and responsive host.

Too hot overall. Master bedroom had no ac vent and had to go purchase a portable fan. Very inconvenient. Was getting messages from owner to adjust AC because the people downstairs were hot. Sofa bed was broken. Just an overall bad experience. 👎👎

Everything was ultimately great for our stay. I loved that I could bring my dog. I loved that there were smart TVs. It was great to have king beds in each bedroom, so that was great for our family. They have a fair amount of kitchen stuff if you wanted to cook a meal and two tables of varying sizes, so folks can sit together. The location was amazing and easy to get to and from. My recommendations: There is no door or gate to the basement so I would provide a baby gate of some sort or make sure a family bring one if they have littles The Miller moths were in full force so they got into the house a lot It could use an extra sofa for seating around the tv. The house was overall clean but could’ve been better in certain rooms (kitchen, dining, etc), but I know with hard floors that can be very tough. Lastly, it could use a couple rugs by the front and back doors - we got there when it was pouring rain and no place to wipe feet/shoes. Thank you!

When we arrived at the house we noticed a smell that reminded us of spices. The floors and vents in the house were dirty. Spider webs in the kitchen. Had to find a separate switch to turn on the air conditioning. Bathroom floor mats were dirty and we also found hairs in the bathroom. All three beds had hair on the sheets. One room had pencil marks on the wall. Anther had dust and change on the floor as well as gum behind the headboard. All three headboards had hair on them. One bathroom door is too big and catches on the floor. You have to force it closed and open. We found cooked ramen noodles in the pull-out couch. We had a total of five guests with only four body towels. I contacted the property owner about the towels and he had the cleaning lady come over around 8:30 at night and she dropped off more towels. She told us that her information only showed one guest. After locating the hairs on the bed I contacted the property manager and told them that we would not be staying. Communication with the property owner was good until we told them we would not be staying and wanted a refund. The next day we took pictures as well as showed the cleaning lady what we had found. The property owners wanted us to cancel the trip as soon as possible so they could rebook the home as fast as possible. I told them that we would not cancel until we had worked out an agreement on a refund. The property owner then modified our trip reservation changing our four-night stay into a one-night stay. We did get a refund for part of our stay. Other than the house needing a deep cleaning and some repairs it was in a good location. The Washer and Dryer are new and worked very well.

It was a beautiful time the house is in a pretty nice location

This home was offered at a very decent price for the size of it so we booked it for the last half of our trip. We left the first morning and booked a hotel room. The home is very dirty. It hasn’t had a good cleaning in probably a year. The only thing that did look changed was the bed sheets and pillow cases. My kids feet were completely black after 10 minutes of walking around, we found hair from at least 2 people everywhere, bug legs on the beds in the comforters, others on the floors, one bathroom smelled like mold terribly and the floor mat was soaked when we got there. There was blood on a door way and boogers on a wall and bed frame in another room. Going over the previous reviews, someone shared several months ago there was writing on a wall. It is still there. The backyard is overgrown and we were unable to let the kids play outside. The tree house isn’t very secure, two kids got up and immediately came down saying it was wobbly. A bathroom door is coming apart and doesn’t close and a kitchen cabinet is broken, almost fell off when we opened it. There was a basement tenant who wasn’t bad they were quiet and have a separate entrance. However the basement stairs don’t have a door it’s dangerous for small kids. The washer, which is in the basement, was hooked up but we didn’t try it because there was no dryer at all. Brand new washer dryer set was sitting next to it not hooked up at all. Due to the poor condition of the home we couldn’t stay there anymore, especially with a toddler and another special needs child. I felt gross just being in the house and couldn’t relax. I contacted the host about the issues and was assured the cleaner would come by for a touch up, but a VERY deep cleaning is needed. The cleaner never came, she was very busy that day. The host agreed to a partial discount, after explaining he was shocked we didn’t like the home, but I am still waiting to hear back from him about it. The host was very quick to reply to messages, until I let him know we left and I would like a refund.

This was our second stay at the property. The house is great - plenty of room and a convenient location. The property manager was very responsive when we reached out.

We enjoyed our stay at Hampden. The home has a lovely, welcoming feel. The kitchen was great for cooking and the dining room was perfect for sharing meals and playing card games. The beds were big, nice and firm. The neighborhood was quiet. The Wi-Fi worked very well. The owner was quick to respond and was friendly and gracious. We would be happy to stay there again.

There were also no body wash or hair dryer, which you’d expect in a place at this price. Definitely not worth the price for this place.

Easy access to the city everything was 15 mim away

Everything was very easy and Jeff does a great job communicating. House was clean and the neighborhood was nice. Views out the back window are amazing we will be back!

Location is very close to take out restaurants and freeway access. Our dogs liked the backyard after a long car ride cross country.

We chose this spot as a place to celebrate a holiday with my parents and brothers. The house was great. The kitchen has new appliances (we cooked several big meals), there a big tv, and plenty of comfy seating. The property is in a quiet neighborhood close to I-25, so it is easy to get downtown or to the mountains. The host was very responsive to questions. There is another unit downstairs but everything is separate, including entrances and the yard.

A nice place with an attentive host. I would definitely stay here again!

The only thing that I would change is having a guest down stairs. We scheduled some unplanned outings because the guest on the bottom complained about the noise. No music or parties or anything like that just normal walking watching tv and enjoying family time. Other than that we had an amazing time! Totally recommend and hope to return.
