We spent a great week in the Harvey House over Thanksgiving. Quiet residential neighborhood but very close to stores etc The apartment was very clean and tastefully furnished, kitchen well equipped for meals! We hope to return some day!

This lovely home was perfect for my husband and me and my parents. It is charming and comfortable, and the hosts have done a great job making it feel special. I really appreciated the little things that made it so welcoming -- coffee, snacks, and coffee available, thick towels and bedding, and a well-stocked kitchen. Check in was a breeze and communication was excellent. We will definitely stay here again.

It was great. The location was perfect for doing what we needed to do and it was convenient and quiet. I liked the charm of the place from the large living room to the nice kitchen. It was relaxing and I would definitely stay there again.

We loved this gorgeous two flat for our stay in the Chicago area. We needed a place that was dog-friendly and close to Northwestern and this was spot on. Our dogs loved the fenced backyard and I loved that I could relax and enjoy the space with my dogs. Lots of nice little touches in this place and we felt right at home. I will definitely book again for a long stay in Chicago.

Probably the best appointed place we have ever stayed. Got in too late to grocery shop? No worries —coffee (plus sugar and creamer) there for you. It’s raining? There’s an umbrella in the closet. Truly all the comforts of home. Very clean and comfortable. Especially loved reading the history of the home (framed in the foyer).

I'll start by saying this was a lovely home and there were lovely folks in charge of its maintenance. Unfortunately, the folks above us were not lovely. In their defense they were teenagers and much of their frontal lobes are still under development. However, I would say that having a NYE party in a historical apartment, directly above 2 teachers (myself and my guest) was probably not the best idea. I didn't think that I would need to take pictures of the cracks they were causing in the ceiling, yell at the 75+ teenagers above us to leave before they collapsed the ceiling, or take the police on tour through the home on NYE but alas that is unfortunately what happened. Minus all this NYE drama, my stay was lovely. Our dogs may have a tiny bit of PTSD because of this but I will take that over 18-20-year-old children literally bursting through our ceiling.

Everything went smoothly except for one major issue. The heat in the master bath was not working. It was 17 degrees outside. My wife was not pleased. I messaged the manager who told me there was nothing that could be done over the weekend. I recommend an electric space heater be made available for emergencies. Overall the manager was responsive. Good location. Nice neighborhood.

The Harvey House is wonderful! Clean (so important to me), comfortable, and fully stocked with everything you need! We stayed to attend a concert at Ravinia (Highland Park), which was a short Uber ride away. We enjoyed cooking meals and sitting out on the deck. I would highly recommend this property.

Property was clean, cute, well organized. Nice yard in the back and nice deck. The coolest part was that Lou Rawls used to play piano in the living room when the couple who used to own it lived here! See plaque on the wall in foyer.

We enjoyed our stay very much. I especially appreciated the many thoughtful touches. For example, labels on kitchen drawers and stoneware and glasses in the kitchen made us feel welcome and glad we stayed there instead of a hotel.

This adorable apartment has all you need for a weekend get away. Kitchen was amazing. Beds are super comfy. Large dining and living space. Plenty of parking. Close to everything. Will return!

Nicely upgraded and very clean. Good location. In the downstairs unit you can hear people upstairs walking around sometimes but it was not an issue for us. I would definitely recommend for a place to stay in Evanston.

This place is absolutely wonderful - clean, well kept, spacious, beautifully set up for a lovely visit. Our trip was cut short by a huge storm, which took out power to the whole city for a couple of days, but we would absolutely book here again at another time. The kitchen is well equipped, and beautiful, the furniture is all comfortable, the whole place is just delightful.

This property was absolutely beautiful. Very clean, well appointed kitchen, master bedroom bed was a bit hard for our taste but overall the stay was nothing short of amazing. It's about 30ish minutes from Chicago if you dont mind driving but everything else you would need is right there. Neighborhood was beautiful, quiet and safe. There was ample parking. Would definitely stay again and highly recommend it for anyone to stay.

The apartment is in Evanston a beautiful town just outside of Chicago. It was a beautiful, quiet, well appointed apartment. It was very spacious and it had everything you would need and more. This only thing was the bed in the master was on the hard side which isnt my preference. The whole place was immaculate, the street was quiet and safe, check in was seamless. I would absolutely stay again.

I stayed in this sweet little apartment for 4 days with my son. It was very comfortable with plenty of space for us both to work. We cooked dinners and sat on the back porch. I did my yoga on the sunny lawn out back and we enjoyed watching movies under the comfy blankets provided. The beds are very comfortable! I would stay here again!

I really liked this place. It had everything we needed. It was incredibly clean, quiet, great location. Very thoughtful things laid out for visitors and dogs. I will definitely stay here again.

I stayed in both units and both are great, they have their different advantages with their own personality. Everything is easy at The Harvey House, April our host was always available, she bought me a tea boiler as I told her this was missing, I am a huge tea drinker, so she surprised me with a kind note. There is for sure a good vibe at The Harvey House, the previous owner lived until age 106. I sure will be back April! Valerie

We had a wonderful stay. this Cozy Place has all you need to enjoy Chicago safely. All Appliances are brand new. Many remodeled areas. We had a back yard where our dog was having fun. I had no trouble parking my large SUV in the front of the house every time and anytime. We had locked our self by mistake out of the house. We called April really late and she was there to assist us right away. Thank you April, You are Awesome. The Place is Awesome. Very Quite neighborhood area. Very Safe and Very Clean. We enjoyed it a lot
