We loved our stay at the Hummingbird House! Kids enjoyed the porch for hanging out and reading and we loved that we could walk to town, out to eat, to the store etc. Great little house!

This was the cleanest property I have ever stayed at. Very antique, and cute. Coffee on porch with mountain view was great. The only thing I was not to crazy about was Million Dollar highway because it's the only way to town from Ouray. There was also clapping noise at night only during curtin time in one of the rooms. It sounded like a window or something was open on top and wind was pushing it back and forth. This house definitely looks better in real life than in pictures. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

We loved our stay at the Hummingbird House. Two couples and one teen, and it was just right. Coffee on the front porch in the morning with a beautiful mountain view. Very pleasant place to stay. Thank you!

Used as our base for a weekend ski trip. Plenty of space, easy parking, and great walkable location.

We had a fantastic time at the Hummingbird house! We loved the little loft area and the living room was cozy and light-filled. It was easy to get anywhere in town and we especially enjoyed the cross country skiing nearby.

Came out for Christmas break to ski at Kendall and hang out with family. Great place. Great communication. Zero issues. We will stay here again

Spent a week dirt biking through the San Juans. Perfect spot.

House is conveniently located near the Ice Lake hike and the 100 year Goldmine tour which were two activities we wanted to do. Beds were very comfortable. Home was clean. The little store in town was very expensive and had subpar groceries (moldy bread), thus we didn’t cook at the home. There were plenty of dishes and kitchen supplies though, if you wanted to cook at the house for your meals.

The Hummingbird House met all of our expectations and needs! Angela was super responsive when I couldn’t figure out how to adjust the temperature inside and to help determine the condition of the roads due to fallen snow through the night (we are from Texas). I fell in love with the town of Silverton and can’t wait to go back! My family skied at Purgatory during our stay, and the drive to and from Purgatory each day was such a treat. So very beautiful!

We had a great time walking around town, house is right on Greene Street in a good location. Very cold this time of year but did some skiing and snow shoeing. Very cozy house with fireplace and wood for it. Very clean and comfortable.

My son and I stayed at this Victorian while we skied at Silverton. Great location and lots of space to dry gear. We would rent it again over any of the hotels in town

Loved the house, great location, clean and we taken care of. Quite location on main street close to restaurants. Appropriately equipped kitchen, bathroom and laundry. The only complaint would be the sofa bed. The springs are shot and the mattress is too. He felt the bars from the frame underneath and it had a huge "sink hole" in the middle. He has to sleep on the other couch cushions instead. That would be the only complaint. Communication was fast and easy. Internet was solid. I would definitely stay there again. Best place I've stayed so far in Silverton. If you're bringing a trailer, be careful putting it in the driveway. The dip is steep and you will drag the rear frame and the jack stand of you go straight in. But the security of having it in the driveway is worth it.

Although our time spent inside The Hummingbird was minimal, what we did take advantage of exceeded expectations. Packed light because of the washer and dryer…..that’s a first. The kitchen had all the essentials as we cooked breakfast and dinner each day. Water pressure and hot hot water in shower at end of long hard day, priceless. Slept beautifully in comfortable bedroom with window for fresh air. The large enclosed front porch to keep all our boots, coats, backpacks and coolers organized each night for the next day was a huge plus. Thank you Angela for your thoughtfulness.

This house is in a great location! It is right on the main street (Green St) in Silverton. The house is as described. What I liked most is that it has a nice little deck with patio furniture on the front to hang out at after a long day of exploring. The view from the deck is Kendall Mountain. The beds were very comfortable. There are individual heaters in each room and there was plenty of hot water in the shower. for 4 adults. Kitchen is fully stocked, but there was no outdoor grill (we brough our own). House is on the OHV route. It has a very long driveway that accommodated our truck and trailer and there is additional on-street parking. The driveway has a dip down to the street that our trailer scraped on near the hitch but that was the only issue. Property manager was very quick to respond to our questions. I would recommend this house for a family or 2 couples.

I stayed at Hummingbird for a running race ( Silverton 60K). The weekend was just perfect, I wish I could have stayed for more time. I am in love with this sweet cottage, so relaxing and comfortable, and watching the Hummingbirds and other birds all the time was amazing. I will definitely be staying here again hopefully if it is available.

The house was clean and in the center of town so easily accessible to everything. We had a little hiccup with water drainage but as soon as I let the property manager know it was immediately fixed before we made it back in from riding and that day.

We had a wonderful stay in this small, nice, clean, and well supplied house in Silverton on the OHV route. The house is set back off the road with large front yard, and long driveway. Beds and room are comfortable and cozy. Nice front porch to sit on as well as enclosed front porch area. Hummingbirds come everyday to drink from the feeders on the front porch. A treat to watch. Views of beautiful Mts. this is a great place to get a way to a small town and especially wonderful if you like OHV roads and trails.
