We loved our stay and all felt comfortable as a group of 9. There was plenty of space to hang out, and it was a quick drive to Oban and a beautiful journey to Glencoe. Gillian was very responsive and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay and had great fun using the garden and hot tub. Upstairs looked as if it had been recently refurbished however there were a few snagging points ie broken hinges on doors. However this may be the result of a busy season beforehand. Large sitting room ideal for big families but we struggled to fit round the dining table.

We love the location and the house! The best part was the hot tub which we spent a lot of time enjoying the Scotland air and environment. Gillian was also very accommodating and communicated very effectively!

The house is truly amazing, all rooms are decorated in unique yet authentic way. There is everything one can possibly need inside the house. Great for a family gathering and staying inside. It’s a bit far away from key PoI but with the car totally reachable. The only thing, we tried to reach out to the owners after we left, as my son left a plush toy cow which was very dear to his heart, but never got any reply.

The whole family enjoyed our stay. Would recommend!

This is a fantastic property very clean and very roomy the pans in the kitchen could be better renewed though . Bedrooms were all very roomy and comfy beds . Outside was good too plenty room for kids to run around

Our check in was 4pm so we spent the afternoon in Oban and arrived just after 430pm. From start to finish this home was absolutely beautiful. I don’t think the pictures do it justice. A very high finish, lovely fixtures, showers were fantastic, couches were lovely and comfy. The hot tub was excellent and we enjoyed it every evening after hiking in Glencoe. Oban was only 20mins drive and had lots to do including a very exciting boat tour. Absolutely loved our stay and loved the house. It fitted us perfectly and even had a downstairs room which was ideal for my 86 year old mum. You will not be disappointed.

Accommodated 3 generations of our family from 18 months to almost 70 year! Plenty of space for us to spread out or be together. Lovely decor - especially bedrooms and bathrooms. Enclosed garden and hot tub meant everyone could enjoy the outside safely during a week when Scotland won out on the UK weather! Gillian is so very kind and helpful, going the extra mile by providing extra equipment (a stair gate) to keep the little ones safe when upstairs and helping us find another house nearby for additional family members. Spacious and tidy. Exellent base to come home to after outings. Adorable little village. improvement suggestion: Convert small den to eating area, because there really wasn't enough room to seat 12 people around dining table and also not enough room for one or two people to stand up and move about during dinner.

We all had an amazing time at Gillian’s lovely house. The house more than accommodated a family group of 12 adults and our dogs with plenty of space for cooking, eating and relaxing. The hot tub was a fab added bonus! The location was perfect, being only a 20 mins drive from Oban and with lots of lovely walks in close proximity. We will definitely be back!

The location of the property was convenient and made it easy for us to explore the surrounding area. Booked for 11 family members for a Christmas get together house was beautiful spacious and clean had everything we needed gillian responded to any queries we had promptly had a lovely time in taiynuit what made our holiday extra special was spending time in the hot tub whilst snowing overall I recommend this property for family gatherings 5* from me.

Had the most amazing time renting this property!! Room were all stunning and most had there own on-suit which was amazing for having your own privacy!! Location was good!! Overall the house was amazing and would definitely recommend!! And the hot tub was fab !! Xxx

This cottage is beautiful! What really made our stay comfortable was the communication with the host - she was extremely helpful and always attentive to our needs 24/7. The property itself was clean and the Jacuzzi made it even better! Would defo recommend this property for a large group / family as it is the perfect get away. My family and I were very pleased with our stay and would defo visit again. Thanks once again to the host!

House has lots of space for 8 adults, 3 toddlers and 3 dogs. Lovely bedding and towels and we enjoyed the hot tub. Could have been cleaner and some kitchen equipment could be replaced. Unfortunately the grass was badly in need of cutting therefore the garden area looked rather neglected .

We stayed in this beautiful home for a week while touring Scotland. Our goal in staying here was to be able to reunite with family as well as take day trips around the area to see the sights. We met all of those goals and more! For several days, there were 12 of us in the house and there was plenty of room for all of us! In addition to the space, the house is beautiful and in a lovely location. We walked into the small village, where there is a train station, tea room and general store, among other things. Gillian was a wonderful and responsive host any time we needed something or had a question. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a relaxing and beautiful home base during their stay in Scotland! We will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic stay here and can’t thank Gillian enough for all of her help before and during our holiday. A wonderful host with a beautiful home! The house was so spacious for 3 families staying together and we had everything we needed. The hot tub was a huge hit with the kids and grown ups too. The village of Taynuilt was lovely to explore and Oban just a short drive away. Perfect for a quiet family getaway. Will definitely recommend to friends and family!

What a beautiful house to stay in for our sons 30th birthday. All the rooms were immaculately laid out with the benefit of most of the bedrooms having ensuite facilities. No expense has been spared in the fixtures and fittings as all of the furnishings were of the best quality. The hot tub was immaculately looked after and was a frequently sought after pleasure after a long day touring of the area. The house itself was ideal for our Mexican themed birthday bash and allowed plenty of room to accommodate parts of the party that wanted a quiet 5 minutes to chill out with our 7 year old German Shepherd. If I've rambled on about the beautiful house it all pales in comparison with our host. we have been on many of these breaks and I can honestly say this was the best. Gillian went out of her way to make sure everything was perfect, from the moment we asked if there was anything we required she was very prompt in her response.

We had a wonderful stay here. The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you could need. We were a group of 12 adults and a dog and we never felt cramped. Having the outdoor terrace and hot tub was fantastic. Gillian was an excellent host who went above and beyond to answer any questions and recommended places to stop for food and a taxi company. The property is in a great location as it’s not too far from Glasgow for a weekend away but you feel completely in the countryside and highlands. Oban is a half hour beautiful scenic drive away and Taynuilt is lovely.

Lovely big house with all the amenities we needed for 9 adults, a baby, and two dogs. It was so nice to find a house where all the adults could sleep in double beds. The hot tub was brilliant fun, and maintenance came every day to top it up. Gillian (the owner) was perfectly attentive and quick to answer any queries, including running extra dishwasher tablets to us when we ran out. Would definitely stay again!

We went well prepared as Gillian had told us that there was a nice tea room close by but no where to have an evening meal. Unfortunately the tea room was closed when we were there. It’s a lovely village, the shopkeeper at the local store was very friendly and welcomed our custom. Would highly recommend this property.
