This home is very clean with an open layout that allowed everyone to be together whether you were cooking, playing pool, eating, or watching tv. We enjoyed the sunrise views over the water every morning. The pool spa was like a large heated jacuzzi and was so fun to jump in early with the sun or in the evening. We had one issue over our stay which we contacted the property manager about. His response was prompt and kind, and the issue was addressed right away. This was overall a great stay. There is a golf path that ran clear to Shangri La. Next time we hope to rent some golf carts to ride down to marina, golf course or local restaurants.

We are three generations of women honoring the strong women in our family. We enjoyed the layout of the house, well stocked kitchen, and beautiful view. We had plenty of room to gather in the dining room to eat as a family and play games in the living room. Every member commented on how nice the house was and having plenty of room for parking.

The house is beautifully decorated and has everything you need for a wonderful weekend at the lake! Close to Shangri La and all its amenities it is the perfect location. Large yard, fire pit, hot tub, pool table, the list of activities that this house provides goes on and on! The host was amazing and so easy to work with. No down sides to this one!! Such a fun weekend! Thank you!

This is a great house and a really nice location but as another reviewer stated the outside could use some cleaning up. The back porch, which is a great spot for gathering and has plenty of room for a large group, was very neglected. It needed a really good power washing to clear out the bugs, cobwebs and mud daubers. The screened in porch was unusable due to the spiders and cob webs. The inside was clean and well kept and the property manager was quick to respond when needed but we were disappointed in the lack of up keep on the outside for the price of the house. This did not change my review as it was not promised as part of the house but the lake is not accessible from the house. I looked at the pictures and thought our outdoorsy kids could figure it out but you can't swim there, at least not very easily. It is very rocky with lots of tree debris.

Wonderful time in a quaint Vrbo right on the lake. Beautiful views with a cafe and pool for children walking distance away. Running trail, beautiful trees and terrain. Short distance to Grove where you can rent boats for the day, tube or ski. My family had an amazing time! So happy we were able to enjoy our time together- great memories indeed!!!

Great place for a large number of people.

Upon arrival outside living space was dirty, covered in bugs/spider webs and wasp nests. Stains on cushions. Lawn and flowerbeds were overgrown. House was clean but little details not up to par for the price. We had a few issues with the inside but was quickly rectified We did appreciate the storm shelter as we had to use it early Sunday morning. Overall, not worth the price.

My family wanted a place that could fit us all and just hang out, there was 19 of us and there was plenty of room. Nice accommodations. Would recommend to anyone wanting a family get away. They only thing would be the fact it was so rocky and we couldn’t swim behind house but we kayaked, played tons of games and went to the pool nearby.

We always struggle to find a space that can easily accommodate our 8 man group. But we really found a treasure this year! Plenty of beds and space for 8 friends from college to hang out in between rounds of golf! Can’t say enough nice things about the entire process from check in to departure. Access was as simple as I’ve ever experienced. Great location with easy access! Full kitchen with proper cooking utensils and dishes!

The house was adequate and clean. They provided lots of laundry and pantry items. The spa was much smaller than we expected, and the water in it smelled horrible, as did ALL of the water supply!! I discovered the home has well water, thus the nasty smell AND taste!!! I wouldn't cook with it or let anyone drink it. The kids really didn't want to shower in it, but did. Several of them got sick with a stomach bug while we were there and two got eye infections. I don't know for sure, but we're pretty convinced it was from the spa. We loved the bonus room and the pool table! I wished there were a dock on the property so we could have fished off it. This is a winter house...not a summer place.

Beautiful home, very clean and plenty of space for everyone. Kids enjoyed the upstairs game room and we all enjoyed the swim spa and gorgeous view of the lake, and sitting around the fire pit outside. We had lots of space for cooking family meals together, enjoyed the pool table and outside areas. The Christmas tree was perfect and so was this home for our family Christmas gathering.

Great house! Exactly as advertised. Molly and Ty were very responsive. Had a minor plumbing issue that was addressed quickly. We really enjoyed stay and the house!

The Owner was difficult to contact. We did not have managers contact information until Owner FINALLY answered one our calls. Several of us repeatedly tried to contact her, but she never returned our calls. The address is located at a different place when looking at arial views. I'm sure b/c the house is new and Google hasn't updated their maps in that area, but we needed to talk to owner about this; we wanted to make sure we weren't being scammed. She still did not return our calls even after letting her know our concerns. Also, each bathroom only had 1 roll of toilet paper, no extra rolls!

We booked the Monkey Island Resort for a ladies yoga retreat, and it was the perfect place! The house and property are beautiful! The lake and outdoor space was so relaxing! Loved everything about it!

Wow this property was absolutely fantastic. We had 10 adults and 5 kids under the age of 3. All of the bed rooms worked out perfectly. Lots of space. The kitchen and family room were perfect to hang out. A lot of our time was spent on the back patio, around the fire pit or in the swim spa. No need to leave. We had everything we needed. The kitchen was fully equipped. The second refrigerator came in very handy. It was wonderful to have a washer and dryer with little kiddos. Molly was so responsive and answered all of our questions about the property. This property is a gem!!!! Thank you!!!

We had a great week in this beautiful VRBO. We had 8 adults, 3 teens, 5 kids, 1 toddler, and enough chaos for all...the cool swim spa was a total hit with the 11 and under gang, as it was 100* and over our entire stay. Thanks for a crazy week!

Hostess was responsive and manager available during our 5 night stay. The location was perfect to see fireworks from local communities across the lake-three at a time! The fire pit was a favorite spot for evening along with s'mores supplied by our hostess. The kids' favorite was the swim spa with was a great way to cool off in the Oklahoma heat. We had 15 people attend our family reunion and every one had a great time!

The location, the view of the lake and the amenities of the property were above expectations. Being an architect, the house is very well thought out with great details - this was an amazing getaway for a golf weekend stay for 10 guys.

We stayed here with a group of friends. The house is spacious with a center gathering area just perfect for board games, food, and fun. The fire pit and hot tub were a great feature. We would come back.

Unfortunately, my brother in law got covid and we were not able to stay here. We tried to contact Molly through the app and over 6 hours later she responded to us asking if we wanted to cancel. We said yes, and asked what our options would be. This was the day before we were supposed to leave so we were trying to figure out the best solution. She did not respond for 14 hours (the day that we were supposed to be arriving there), and then all she said was that we could NOT cancel and listed her policy. She gave us no options and was not timely about communicating at all. This lack of communication caused us anxiety trying to figure out the best solution. Then when I tried to text with her, she told me she only wanted to communicate through the app and did not want me texting her cell phone. In fact, she never even responded to my last message. So as of now, we never used this property and we have been charged the full amount. We have stayed at many vacation rentals and this was by far the worst communication situation we’ve ever had with an owner. If the owner wants to give “discounted” communication then they should charge a “discounted” price. Hopefully if you choose this place you don’t have any unforeseen circumstances that should cause you a need to communicate with the owner.

The lodge was beautiful. We couldn't find the time to do all the things it had to offer. I do plan to return. From our entry to our emergency, we were comfortable.

Driving up to the farmhouse white exterior and beautiful landscape, we knew this was going to be a wonderful fall vacation for our family Thanksgiving. Inside and out had a little of something for everyone. From cornhole and the spa outside to air hockey and pool table inside, there is so much to do. And the view....gorgeous! The house had everything we needed for preparing meals. There was room for everyone to sit and eat together and watch the big game. Bedrooms were comfortable and roomy. We can't wait to go back!
