House was a decent size in a decent neighbourhood. 30 min walk to downtown or $12 Uber. Could use some modernization and renos but very liveable. Owner was very quick to respond to queries.

A large rental with a small deck. The house was clean but tired. Lots of white walls and blank spaces. It lacked warmth and coziness. The kitchen had grandma Christmas china with tiny tea cups and lacked utensils. Nothing wrong with it. We just did not feel "at home".

Good location close to most amenities, casino and waterfront boardwalk. Would stay again. Needs minor upgrades.

We rode our motorcycles up to Halifax from North Carolina and used this house as our base of operations to explore Nova Scotia. PERFECT house for us and really enjoyed being able to cook a couple of meals at the house. Definitely will choose it again if we are back up there.

Great stay on our family vacation. Well appointed and close to things while still being in a quiet neighborhood. Communications with owners was easy.

While we didn’t have the view we had in our 2018 Halifax stay when we last spent a month in the Halifax area this home turned out to be a great location. We were literally 5 minutes from downtown and it is a wonderful base for checking out the waterfront, the museums, the library, the Public Gardens, well, just about everything.. The hydrostone area at the top of Young Street has a wonderful bakery and Made in the Maritimes has lots of wonderful choices for souvenirs and gifts as well as a great hair salon. The house itself provided everything we needed. It is spacious and made for a comfortable stay for a month. While the furniture is a bit dated, the appliances are all state of art. Because we travel full time and were here for a month we did a lot of cooking at home and nearly everything was provided to allow us to do that. The deck could definitely use a coat of paint and there is no view but it was nice to have comfy chairs and space to sit outside on warm evenings. It is important to note that the laundry is shared with another apartment. It was not an issue but wasn’t indicated in the listing. The hosts were very gracious and generally very helpful. We definitely recommend this property!
