We were looking for a comfortable property in the area that would accommodate our family and be close to Raleigh and Falls Lake. The property was just what we were looking for. We would definitely stay at this property again, and recommend it to others.

Our host was available and responsive from the moment I put in a request to reserve. Check in was a breeze. She gave us all the information we needed in plenty of time to arrive prepared and get right in the place. Once in, we found a notebook with even more details and contact choices. The neighborhood was so convenient to everything we needed and yet felt quiet and removed from the traffic. I had a rather unusual request and the host was quick to respond and super generous. As mentioned in other reviews, the coffee station was the best! Instead of meeting friends at a local shop, we invited them to drop by the Fairytale Cabin for coffee. So fun!!

This home was a cozy getaway! Well-equipped, and nestled in a serene and wooded neighborhood. Perfect for relaxation but convenient to many activities in N. Raleigh. Host was attentive and helpful.

We had a fantastic time with our family at the beautifully done, mid-century design home. It included all the luxuries of home and had a great coffee bar that we greatly enjoyed! Much quality time was spent on the screened in porch and deck; it too is a great space to relax and enjoy. We had our 2 year old grandson along so we were very pleasantly surprised by everything this property provided for him, pack-n-play, many toys and more. This property has the feel of being in the woods but all the convenience of the city close by. (15 min from Raleigh Durham Airport)
We will definitely be staying here again!

This property is so lovely, charming and comfortable. Its location was perfect for us. We were able to explore a lot of the Raleigh area and visit local family. Would definitely recommend a visit to Raleigh and this house makes a perfect home away from home.

This is was great home with space to enjoy with family. The place was cozy and well cared for. It’s is great that pets are allowed too so the whole family could be together.

We enjoyed our week at Barbara’s home. She was very responsive to our needs, and we appreciated the attention to detail. The home met our family’s varied needs, and it was in a very convenient location. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again or recommend it to friends.

My wife, I and my adult children were visiting family in North Raleigh. Barbara's house was very well located near my sister's home and other conveniences in north Raleigh. The home was clean, well appointed and in a nice neighborhood. Overall it made for a relaxing stay,

We had a wonderful stay at the Acorn Treehouse. Barbara is a fantastic host. The house is immaculately clean and well supplied. The large windows create an immersive feeling of being in nature with the greenery in around the home.
Location is excellent in north Raleigh. Close to the highway and plenty of shopping / restaurants.
Decor is excellent and very well done. Comfortable furniture and beds throughout.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and hope to visit again!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Barbara made sure we had everything available so we could to relax and unwind. My husband made LOTS of lattes and espressos at the coffee bar! This home was also within a short drive to each of the restaurants and other family we visited during our stay, which was super convenient. We will be returning to Raleigh and plan to come back to this wonderful space.

Beyond grateful for having found this sweet property. If there were a higher rating than 5, I would have given it. It was everything we expected from the listing and more. The owner is super helpful and the place was outfitted with everything you could need or want. It's cozy and beautifully decorated. The home is very well kept and VERY clean. I can't say enough about how much fun my family and I had and how comfortable we were during our stay. We won't stay anywhere else when visiting our family in Raleigh. We have most definitely found our home away from home!!!!

Property had everything we needed. Nice location, very quiet and peaceful. We had our bikes and rode all over the neighborhood. Would have loved to have used the outdoor space & wonderful screened porch more. We may have to go back when the weather is warmer! We did use the fireplace though which is a nice feature. Overall, a very comfortable property!

I tried really, really hard to find something to complain about with this property. I truly did. But the fact is, there’s nothing. The house was clean, the beds were soft, there was even a bed for our dog!
The house was stocked with everything we could have needed short of our own clothes and tooth brushes. There was even more than one kitchen towel!!
Honestly, this was one of the best places we have ever stayed in both comfort and decoration. I think the host could probably be an interior designer. 10/10 would stay here again.

Barbara was very helpful and responded quickly to my inquiries. The home is absolutely beautiful! The attention to detail makes you feel at home. She has thought of everything you may possibly need. My family truly enjoyed our stay.

My husband and brother and I stayed at the Acorn Treehouse for a recent weekend in Raleigh. I can’t overemphasis how perfectly charming this little house is. Comfortable and stylish. Fully setup kitchen & truly spectacular coffee options. Also, what a fun addition to have access to a VR headset. The outside space is relaxing & my hubby & I spent 30 mins watching a hawk prowl the back yard looking for dinner. Barbara was accessible & her attention to the tiny details really makes the stay. Highly recommend & will be returning.

Great stay in Raleigh
This house was darling and our host Barbara was wonderful. She Checked in to make sure all was well. Neighborhood was pretty and quiet. We had two small dogs and her son left little treats for our fur babies. Would have stayed longer!! Great experience!

Wonderful stay!
This house is absolutely adorable, and every detail is so thoughtfully considered and planned out. Barbara was a very attentive host, though we had no issues at all. My friends and I wanted a comfortable spot to get together and hang out, and the house was perfect. We hope to come back again!

We loved our stay in the Acorn Treehouse! All weekend long we kept saying how lovely the house was. Barbara was a terrific host and everything we needed was provided and easy to find.
