We enjoyed the chickens! They are very fun to watch. The treasure hunt was fun. We wish we would have brought wood for the fire place. A cozy fire would have been icing on the cake! Speaking of cake, The fresh baked chocolate chip bread that was waiting for us was delicious. The owner is very nice, and easy to talk to. Every time I had a question, she immediately responded. Very good experience.

We had a lovely visit with family in Cary and were able to host Thanksgiving dinner in this very comfortable and well furnished cottage. Enjoyed the chickens too!

The cottage was well equipped for our stay with kitchen ware, comfortable beds and plenty of linens. The property is very nice and clean. Loved the outdoor spaces; chicken coop was a fun addition. We enjoyed the nearby biking trails. The bikes and helmets were a nice touch. Thank you, Lindy!

The house was in a wonderful location! Close to groceries stores and other needs. The owner was very responsive to questions and we all had a nice stay.

I can't even put into words how DELIGHTED my family was with our stay at the cottage! Honestly, I think we would've stayed there forever if we could have. When we first pulled up, the cottage looked exactly like the photos (yay!), lots of greenery and trees, and Lindy had left a few left lights on for us (inside & out). This was so lovely because we arrived late at night, so it made the cottage feel extra warm and welcoming. Also, the house happens to be on a cul-de-sac, so the property feels peaceful and safe. I didn't realize this when booking - it was SUCH a nice surprise! Next, we were impressed by the cute code-lock on the front door. It was easy to use too which was such a relief because I'm generally terrible with technology. When we entered the cottage, everything was sparkling clean, and Lindy had set out some cinnamon raisin bread for us which was perfect after a long drive, and again added to the overall feeling of being welcome. My kids were exhausted after our 17 hour drive, so they came in and flopped themselves down on the couch and immediately fell asleep. The air conditioning was already on and working SO beautifully, so I set out to find some blankets for my kiddos and BAM - there in the living room were 2 fluffy throw blankets and 2 awesomely fuzzy throw pillows. I was so thankful for that because I was exhausted myself, and definitely didn't feel like searching the house for blankets. Upon exploring, I was thrilled at how clean and organized everything was. And ohhhh the sun room. So fantastic. And the hidden amenities were the icing on the cake for me! Plates, bowls, silverware, wine glasses, paper towels, toilet paper, hot chocolate with marshmallows, tea, coffee, cream, a variety of sugars, a toaster, shampoo, conditioner, soap....the list goes on. I felt relieved honestly, because on vacation you basically need all the things you don't even know you need untilyou realizeyou forgot to pack them. Then I opened the closet to find children's books and umbrellas and other cute & helpful items. Also - extra blankets and pillows in the closets, the softest towels I've EVER felt (seriously where can I buy some of those?), and a gorgeous wood burning fireplace. We had a fire on our last night there and it was the most amazing & relaxing experience. We will definitely be staying again!!! I miss you already Honeysuckle Cottage!!!

Super adorable cottage in a very quiet neighborhood. Cottage is exactly as pics depict, super clean, nice thoughtful touches (i.e. fresh pastries upon arrival, toiletries in the bathroom) plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Easy access to restaurants, shopping, drugstores, etc..

This was our 2nd time at Honeysuckle Cottage. The host is amazing! We were able to enjoy time with family and friends and it feels like home. We look forward to our next visit. I can't think of anywhere else that would be this ideal for us.

Exceptional property! We could tell by the listing this home was going to be comfortable and we were not disappointed. Honeysuckle Cottage felt just like home (maybe even better!!). We loved the location. We love to walk and hike and we did so every single day. The Greenway with miles and miles of trails is about a half mile away, plus you can walk all through the neighborhoods if you prefer. You can also walk to shops and restaurants and a park! The location is surprisingly quiet for being so close to it all. Honeysuckle Cottage was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We cook most of our meals at home and we had everything we needed, even storage containers for our leftovers. Lindy, our host, was so kind and accommodating. Her communication was great and she was available for any questions we had about the area. We would not hesitate to stay at Honeysuckle Cottage again!
