Breakfast was good and served on a nice terrace. Conveniently close to the airport. Beautiful home with ample parking.

Beautiful home!! Felt safe with it being a gated property. The backyard patio is incredible and the room is very clean and comfortable.

We liked the location, and the property was beautiful. The host was friendly, and pleasant.
The host confused our stay with someone else’s. It was a bit difficult to find the place and we had to either call or message them to find out where to go. Otherwise our taxi driver wasn’t able to find the place on the map. The TV wasn’t working properly (Apple TV, etc). The food portion was small. We were not presented with any options. One of the host’s cat’s climbed on the table while we were eating and would not go away. Regardless of how you reserve, you will need to find another way to pay at the end of your stay because the host does not use the website’s payment system.

Close to the airport making it easy to get a good night sleep after traveling. Clean and quiet and the host was kind and prepared a lovely breakfast
Can be hard for people to find. Our car rental agency was lost for an hour. Not much within walking distance, so wouldn't be ideal for a longer stay.

The room was very clean. I could rest so well after 20+ hour flight. My arrival time was late due to flight schedule, but the host waited for me to arrive even thought it was very late. The best breakfast I had during my holiday in Costa Rica, THE BEST COFFEE I had tried in my life!

The streets are very dark, so you need to drive carefully at night.

The property is modern and the bedroom comfortable and self contained with it’s own bathroom. Monica is a great host, making coffee and breakfast in the morning. The house is perfect for an airport overnight stay :o)

The room was great, very clean and comfortable. The host, Monica, was excellent and super helpful! The location was great, near the airport but in a quiet neighborhood. I will definitely stay here again!

Monica is a great hostess. She communicated with my friend and I very clearly and quickly. Her house is gorgeous and clean.
It's a little difficult to find. You have to put it into waze I guess. We had to stop and ask a few people and finally just called Monica for her to instruct the driver on where to go.

The owner is really nice and available even though we arrived quite late. The breakfast was good.
The room was a little bit cold. And there was not extra blanket for the bed.

The Garden Room was great. It’s very close to the airport. Clean and comfortable. Your little own space for unwind and rest during a long layover or overnight stay. Monica is amazing. A nice breakfast and good conversation. Loved it!

Think the description on Booking.com should state that it's a private house or the house have a little sign saying Garden Room. We thought our map app had taken us to the wrong place and had to knock on a couple of doors.

It was just what I needed, a clean room w good facilities near the airport before starting my trip the next day. Our flight was delayed by several hours but the staff waited for me even though I got in after 12am.

If you are travelling to or from the airport you must stay at the garden room. The room is incredibly comfortable and the owner exceedingly kind. It felt like a home away from home. Also, the area is safe (even for women traveling alone) and there are restaurants close by. The host is very kind and makes a delicious Costa Rican breakfast. I highly recommend this place. It is a perfect place to start or end your trip.

I loved the clean room, breakfast that was prepared by the host.
Very accommodating, after a 28 hr flight, I arrived late, I was tired and the host came and picked me up from the airport.. She also gave me advice on where to travel to find hidden gems!
