We enjoyed our stay here so much! We came to town to celebrate our 15 year anniversary and this cottage was perfect! Such a sweet, peaceful, & well thought out place! We had everything we needed and enjoyed the hot tub. It’s secluded, but close enough to Tyler where we enjoyed a nice dinner. Will be back in the future hopefully!

Clean properly, nice neighborhood, exactly as advertised online. Bring bug spray if you’re staying in the spring/summer. Lots of Mesquitos but that’s the area.

The property is quiet and perfect for a couples getaway. The hot tub was heated and ready to go and the host left great instructions and recommendations for local restaurants

My wife and I stayed at Dogwood Cottage and absolutely loved it. It was the perfect quiet break we needed away from work/our baby and we had a really great time. The cottage was extremely clean and the host was very communicative. It’s in the perfect quiet area but still close to Tyler. We loved it!

What a beautiful tiny cottage! Immaculately clean and thoughtful details, this little place has so many lovely features. You can tell they took their time to think of everything! It is off the beaten track and hidden back in the secluded woods but still so close to town! It was perfect for a quick get away in the quiet. Highly recommend!

Pros: Easy check in and check out. Good communication with owner. Out in the country, enjoyed watching the goats play across the road. Other houses were closer than it seemed in the pictures online but it wasn't an issue for us. Very clean, it stayed nice and cool inside. One big open space and a bathroom. We didn't use the hot tub or fire ring so I can't review those. Wifi worked for the most part for us which i had been worried about bc i read others had problems with it. Cons:Wish there had been room on the deck to sit and have my coffee but there is a bench on the front porch. Maybe if we had run the extra fan at night it wouldn't have been an issue but the bed was too squeaky and we woke each other up in the night so that was unfortunate. Also I will say that the tv is on the small side and too low for both people in bed to watch comfortably. Without having a couch, you need to be on the bed to lounge and watch tv.

Our stay at dogwoodridge was amazing. The upkeep of the cottage was amazing! It was clean, and peaceful. We stayed for one night, and had everything we needed in the cottage. The serene land and hot tub was a plus for our visit. We will definitely be staying here again❤️ The owners weren’t far away and that was nice to know.

Loved our stay, the hot tub was perfect in 30⁰ temps and shockingly held heat for a while for its size! The cabin stayed nice and warm, the bed and pillows were so comfy, and we enjoyed resting and watching netflix in bed! Cant wait to come back!

We had a nice little getaway! The cottage was well stocked and nice and cozy! It was a rainy cold weekend, but was perfect snuggled up inside! Highly recommend!

The place was perfect for a couples one night get away. The properry is studio style with a perfect kitchenette. We arrived after dark, but the directions were easy to follow. All the details were covered including curtains to cover the doors to keep out the morning sun. The hot tub was nice but set at 104, which was way too hot. We could not get the television to connect, but was expecting that after reading other reviews. We would certainly stay here again.

This was the perfect get away! It was close to home and town but had the out in the middle of no where feeling. We wanted an anniversary get away but only had 1 night so this was the cutest and perfect little cottage! Will definitely be booking again and sharing!

The cottage was absolutely perfect! The location was just far enough to feel secluded in the best way, but close enough to town that you could go shopping or viait a restaurant. The inside of the cottage was done so that it felt very thought out and made us feel at home. It has many little touches that were just right. You can tell the owners spent a lot of time making sure that they thought of everything. The hot tub was just off the side door on a porch that was just what we needed. I sat on the front porch twice having a drink and reading. I cant wait to visit again!

This is a perfect little cottage for a couple, not too far from town, very quite, nestled in the woods, a true East Texas jewel! We highly recommend it, and look forward to staying here again.

surroundings disappointing. did not stay the 2nd night

We had so much fun! The area was calm, we went to the lake and enjoyed the outside. I do have some small complaints. The WiFi and TV did not end up working after all and we had to use our own hotspot to connect to it. There was a big dog on the lose by our area at times and we weren’t able to get in the hot un due to the tub being plastic and the heat would not go under 100. Overall, the place was great. It had everything we needed, check in was fast, and everything turned out great! I would stay here again!

My husband and I stayed for 2 nights to celebrate our 9th wedding anniversary and the cottage was so beautiful. It felt so cozy and made us feel right at home. It was the perfect amount of space and the hot tub was right outside the side door and was great. The hosts were just wonderful and we will definitely stay again if we go back to Tyler. ❤️

The cabin was lovely, and more spacious inside than we'd expected! The surroundings are so green, and it's very peaceful. Nothing but birdsong in the morning, perfect for sitting on the porch and sipping coffee. We will definitely be back!

Lovely place. Bigger than it appears from outside. About the size of a king suite at a hotel. Very private setting. Comfortable. Proximity to Boulders on Lake Tyler, about five minutes. Would stay again.

My 10 yr old daughter and me took at a trip to Tyler to see the roses. She has 5 brothers and needed some girl only time. We had a wonderful stay! Our host was accommodating and easy to communicate with while respecting our privacy. The tiny house was adorable and really perfect! Thank you!
