Good thing about this hotel is it was right in the middle of Myeongdong which made very convenient for shopping and dining, everything was walkable distance. Hotel lobby is very big and clean. One thing I didn't like about the hotel is when we got there some of the circuit was out so we had no AC and TV for awhile until technician came. It would have been nicer if they checked the room before letting customer in.

The property room needs an upgrade they smell bad, and everything is old.

This is degraded to a 3 star hotel. Poor service and the people at the reseption speaks little English. They are not helpful at all. Very bad experience,we will never return to this hotel.

Good location and easy to walk around to Myeongdong and Cable Car Station, good view of my room facing Seoul Tower. Room condition is really old, bathroom door and bathtub are not well maintained, but shower pressure was good. Staffs are very nice too!

The hotel is older and the room needs major renovation and updates. The photos on the website are older and doesn't portrait the current conditions of the hotel. I booked it because it is in a great location, surrounded by local teansportations and famous shopping center and varity of dining options.

Sejong is a classy hotel with excellent location and great view of Seoul Namsan Tower. Myeongdong shopping street is just 3-5mins walk. Lots of dining options nearby. Great for family and those looking for hotel rooms with bigger space. Definitely one of the hotel options next time I’m in Seoul.

Location was fabulous, close to everything that is must see, including the metro station.

The victims of corporate downsizing were demonstrating in front of the hotel. It looked horrible.

Great Location, Spacious Room

Is very near to Myeong-dong area including Daiso and access to Namson Tower.

The hotel is very conveniently located in busy Myeong-dong shopping district. The room condition looks quite old and carpet flooring is not very clean. The front desk staff are friendly but seems to lack motivation. Overall, it is a good stay for my family as we booked a triple room sharing for 4 persons.

Nice have laundry machine for the guest to do by them self.

This hotel has a value of 4 stars with 3 stars price. Good cost performance.

Had an excellent stay. The housekeeping staff are very welcoming and friendly.

It would be pleasant if the room ready before 3 not necessary before 12 , at least 1pm or 2 pm. Overall it’s old hotel with space room and nice situation just the service but not there 😐

Located at the edge of Myeongdong. it is mere meters from Myeongdong Subway Station's exit 10. This property has seen its halcyon days but with maintenance and rejuvenation, it continues to flourish, albeit as a 3-star, post-covid (used to be 4-star). While we were spoilt for choice, we decided to try because of its good price point, convenient location, and comparatively sizable rooms. We were not disappointed. If you could overlook the sixties feel, then you will be rewarded with clean, well-maintained interiors, and adept service. Jacob and Pyun, just to name a couple of wonderful people at the front desk, exemplify the notion of polished, elegant, professional hospitality. While not adept in English, it's obvious they have years of experience. We had 2 rooms for 6 nights and every night, after imbibing in the hot tub, we slept like babies in clean, comfortable beds. The pillows, however, were too soft to offer any decent support. We compensated by requesting a few more which they were happy to oblige. One late evening, we had an electrical trip, and within 5 minutes, an electrician was dispatched and the problem was fixed without fuss. My wife and I would stay again but could not say the same for my 2 adult children whose preference are for more contemporary abodes.

Big bedrooms with a nice view on the city. Really quiet. I would recommand it was perfect.

Loved the location. There is no individual thermostat so didn’t like that too much. Overall, it was a pleasant stay and was functional.

Everything was good during my 7D6N stay. This trip to Seoul was to celebrate my 10th wedding anniversary. I did make some remarks in my booking, saying I hoped to give my husband a surprise. Check-in was hassle-free using the mobile app. Upon checking into our room about 30 minutes later, hotel staff came up with a bottle of red wine and wished us a happy anniversary. I was shocked and never expected they would really take note of the remarks. Overall, I highly recommend the Sejong Hotel. The location is also good, and I will definitely book my stay with them the next round in Seoul. Once again, thank you, Sejong Team!
