Loved that the rooms are very big and it had been renovated recently. Beds are very comfortable and worked in a separate room / living room. Very nice.

Restaurant understaffed. Comically bad service. And they add annoying gratuity charge to food bills. They don’t overtly tell you that, which makes it a bit shady.

Our first room had a dirty towel in the shower basin and appeared only partially cleaned. However, the clerk promptly switched our room without any hassle. The next room had a “bug” issue. I want to be understanding, some circumstances are beyond the hotel’s control, especially since it is pet-friendly. That said, they ultimately made things right. My main concern was with the front desk clerk, Mary. The third-party indicated that Mary had specifically instructed them to charge us for one night’s stay, which was not the agreement at checkout. They encouraged me to return and discuss the matter directly with Mary b/c over the phone she was adamant with them about the charge. Thankfully, I was still local and I was able to go back to the hotel. When I spoke with Mary, she denied any intentional wrongdoing and attributed the situation to a miscommunication. However, I felt that she initially tried to make me believe the third-party made the decision to charge me. In the end, she resolved the issue, and I appreciated that. Nevertheless, it required additional time on my part after already being inconvenienced.

This is a nice hotel. I've stayed here several times while I'm town for business. The beds aren't super soft, but that's more of a personal preference. The really strange thing is that they do have a small refrigerator in the rooms, but there is no microwave. They have a full service restaurant downstairs, with a full-service bar.

This property was everything I hoped it would be. The room met our needs and had a great view of the city. The location was convenient and about 30 minutes from the airport. The lobby smelled amazing every time I walked in, which I loved! And the VIP perk of free parking was the perfect cherry on top.

The staff I had encountered at the hotel during the stay were all very friendly and helpful. Location was great, room was clean, beds were very comfortable. We would go back if we ever go back to Houston.

The Chifley was perfectly adequate, I stayed in a family room. There were 5 of us and the room accommodated 6 people. The sofa-bed was very uncomfortable and the duvets cover was old and disintegrated on the inside, the bedding had visible signs of wear and tear. The room was tired and needed a refresh. The room could have been better cleaned, the door had dirt marks and the floor and bathroom wasn't cleaned as thoroughly as it should have been. However, the service was very good and staff polite and helpful. The pool was lovely and bar great for cocktails. The overall decor of the lobby is stylish and fun. Despite the negatives set out above we enjoyed our stay in the Chiefly

I was looking forward to this stay, given my previous positive experiences with Hilton properties. However, I was disappointed, especially considering the hotel is advertised as a 4-star establishment. Firstly, within 30 minutes of checking in, a stranger knocked on my door asking if I could help her find someone, which was odd and just sketchy. Secondly, the cleanliness of the room was below expectations. The floor tiles were dirty, the bed sheets felt rough and didn’t appear clean, the refrigerator had an unpleasant odor, and the furniture was visibly unclean. While I've had worse experiences, I would rate this hotel a maximum of 3 stars. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be returning

Beautiful comfortable clean and spacious rooms, a fantastic shower, great Nespresso coffee machine, super convenient. Feels like home. Lovely modern air and fantastically designed lobby that feels like your modern but very grand parlor! Sorry i missed the live music. Had the buffet breakfast one morning which was fine but quite pricey for a very average selection. It was certainly a much better option over the a la carte options which were almost the same price as the buffet. Overall an excellent stay and will be back again and again!

I was here for a group trip, the hotel was amazing and the restaurant and bar on the lower level had great options. Will definitely recommend this place to friends in the future!

We didn’t have hot water so I showered in cold water. We just stayed one night so I didn’t ask for a room change. The sheets were rough and towels were poor quality. There wasn’t even robes or slippers. We regretted booking this hotel and wished we would have payed extra for somewhere else.

Hotel exceeded our expectations!! Smelled refreshing everywhere, staff was beyond friendly, very clean, modern, area is nice and close to everything! Only complaint is they have no microwave to warm leftovers and charge to park (I wasn’t charged this trip thankfully).

So fun to stay here. Centraly located, super clean and the staff were great.

Front desk staff was great; clean spacious room. We slept well and comfortably. Great location. Breakfast buffet and restaurant staff were excellent. Evening bar service was a tad bit slow. We would have preferred to stay there and drink but we had a few drinks and left instead. Still would come back! Very positive experience.

It was an amazing stay, close to everything and walking distance.

Check in was quick, Elevators were smelly though room was clean… parking was expensive $30 usd. Upgraded to the “city view” suite, not worth it.
