Even though smoking is strictly forbidden through out the whole hotel, there was a strong distinguished smoke odor present. Poor water pressure in the bathroom. Heavily used mattresses. Everything else was just fine (covid precautions are very discomforting - but thats on the govy).

Very clean. Staff at reception helpful, speak english. Kitchen staff a bit rude, speak only russian. Breakfast too late! (not before 7:30, weekdays as well as weekends), no great variation, no fresh fruits and vegetables apart from very thin slices orange. Only old bread. Barely something non-animalic. Several unnecessary warm things like soup and stuff you don't want in the morning. The doors can fall shut and cannot be opened from outside. So if you forget your key inside it is a problem.: You will have to pay the money for the locksmith!! Very bad system!!

The hotel is well located - despite the lack of a car park belonging to the hotel, we managed to find a parking place near the building. The room in which we slept was excellent - a large comfortable bed, clean bathroom, all the necessary equipment worked. The advantage is that the reception desk is open 24 hours a day. The hotel staff was also polite. I wouldn't hesitate to give the highest note, but on the day we left the hotel, the lady said that before we check out, we have to wait for the staff to check that we left the room in order. We were confused - in no European and Asian country did we experienced a similar practice. We slept in Prague several times and in no hotel or hostel did anyone check if the room was cleaned before the guests left. Such practices are a lack of trust and respect for guests.

The girls in the check-in were really friendly, super helpful. The guy at the check-out was surly. Hard beds, as is standard in most of Europe. Modern bathroom, tricky to shower since it had only a light sprits when the water was hot. Cool, artsy interior. Good breakfast, lots to choose from especially if you like cakes. Great price.

There was no kettle and fridge inside the room, The first 5 days without TV sets as I need to buy new kettle to use inside the room. Traffic acceptable as close the Tram station.

Very cheap, very short tram ride to the centre, perfect for a cheap few days in Prague. We used the hotel simply to sleep in, as soon as we woke we left for the entire day. Yeh there’s no tv and it isn’t that pleasing on the eye, but it did exactly what it was required to do.

Hotel was convenient to public transport. Good value.

I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends. It is clean and affordable and close to the city centre.

While this hotel is not near any sightseeing, it was only a tram ride away. Tram system was easy and cheap. At first, we worried about the looks of the area. But after our first night, we felt safe walking to and from the tram in the evening hours. The service by employees was great! They were friendly and available to answer any questions. With a few upgrades, this hotel would be perfect for those wanting to travel on a budget. Rooms were clean and comfortable, but again out dated; could use a new sofa and a little sprucing up. The bath room was clean but could use updating. The shower was very small and not a lot of space to move around. All that being said, because they were very accomodating-even had tram tickets there to purchase-we would stay again.

It was ok, very basic but fine for our requirements.

As soon as we walked in to the hotel, we got a very nice, warm welcome, with all details and attractions explained and pointed out on a map.The room is nice and I cant say I expected anything different.Only improvements I can think of is that even though the double bed was 2 singles next to each other, the Duve should have been one that fits a double and not 2 single duves.Also, the curtains were there mostly to provide a bit of privacy rather than stopping the sunlight coming in.The couple of things I just mentioned above are simple suggestions for improvement and I would probably opt to for the same hotel if I were to visit Prague again!

Had a very large pillow with hardly any stuffing inside it so it was quite uncomfortable to use so had to use a rolled up bed throw as a booster. Staff were absolutely fabulous.Had a fridge but no tea making facilities and had to buy a travel kettle myself.Had an old style TV and of the 4 channels available only 1 was in English and that was BBC World News and could not retune it. Just glad I had my smart phone with me.Overall, I had a fantastic time. I can't emphasise how wonderful the desk staff were. Really helpful.Travel is really cheap. 551 Koruna (about £14 at 34 Koruna to the pound) gets you a full months travel on the Trams, Metro and Buses. Marvelous value.

They didn't even clean the bathroom shower stall during my stay. Nor did they remove the trash.I left a day early and they would not give me my money back. I've never had that happen before. Don't stay at this hotel unless your desperate.

The hotel is a bit old but the people were nice, the room was big and confortable and the breakfast was good. It is a bit far from the historical center but there is direct connection nearby and in less than 30 min you can be there

Had tried to rebook my single room as a double room without any answer from the hotel. When I turned up I found out that they had actually done this without informing me, but by then it was too late. Very frustrating. And they couldn't organise a packed breakfast for me either.

We stayed one night, and overall the experience was good. Helpful people at the reception and good breakfast. Only downside was no/poor WiFi in our room. So had to use WiFi in the lobby.

A pleasure to stay there

How this can be classed as 4 star who knows. more like 1 star. Double bed was 2 singles pushed together, no mini bar as stated in booklet. Mouldy shower door and shower, dodgy electrics and 2 electric lamps not working. Also no coffee making facilities or anything of the Ilk. Reception were very helpful,and pointed in right direction for whatever questions asked. As we wanted a quiet location was fine and close to trams which are well worth using.

Hi If you are looking for a Hilton Hotel you won't stay hee but if you are looking for a great local hotel with traidional feel, really friendly staff, and great continental breakfast then we highly recommend this hotel. We decided we wanted tradional rather than 5 star - so much character - even the lift adds characcter! It really made our stay in Prague memorable.

I would never class this as a 4* hotel more like a 3* but it was quiet, clean and less than 10 mins on the tram to city centre. Also, the shops nearby were alot cheaper for buying water and snacks etc..

Decided to go for this hotel as it was newly decorated and in good location. It wasn't hard to find it and the staff was very friendly. But I think that we got the smallest room in the whole hotel. Yes, it was clean. But there was no safe in our room and the bathroom was in terrible state. It was absolutely tiny. The first time we went to take a shower, the shower door almost fell out. Must have been the cheapest shower door ever. The shower head didn't hold properly in the holder. The water pressure wasn't great either. As soon as someone else used sink, or shower, the water pressure dropped. It looked that the room was on new floor as the lift didn't go higher than 4th floor (we stayed at 5th floor). But I have to say, that the breakfast was lovely as was the staff of the hotel. Only problem was the shower. I hope that they will sort it out, because it spoiled the whole stay in Prague. If I ever go back to Prague, I'll pick another hotel.
