The check outs are generally early here so 10am is not that different, just was a bit early for us. No problem, it is clear from beginning, we asked for some extra time and could not get it. Walking distance to the center, maybe 10 min, there are plenty of restaurants and travel agencies there. Breakfast was good.

Really nothing special. Sobre and oldish hotel. As the WiFi password will tell you the hotel was founded in 2013, you will also notice nothing In the hotel has changed eversince. There are 2cm gaps under the door ensuring you will wake up with the earliest guests walking around, no airco and old matrasses. Sobre interior. Receptionist was nice and helped us with getting a taxi. Breakfast very poor. A pre packed supermarkt muffin and a toasted bread without butter or anything. Come on guys, you can do better. Other than that, for 50USD in this region it’s fair.

Nice 2 night stay at Glaciares. Very VERY helpful staff, walking distance to the restaurants and main streets of the village. Room is comfy enough. Free breakfast is very limited. A bit noisy.

Everything fine just one important thing to point out. The blackout curtains don't cover anything, so at 7AM in the morning (as shown in the picture) the room is completely bright. If you need a dark place to sleep well you should consider it, because all rooms are like that.

The room was all fine, the location was a bit outside of town, but the walk wasn’t far. The receptionist was amazing and super friendly and sweet. We had a room right next to the breakfast buffet which was slightly annoying as it got quite noisy from the early morning.

This place is great ! The room was super comfortable and the owner was extremely welcoming and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay at Glaciares de la Patagonia. The staff were helpful and gave good advice on things to do and where to eat. We were really impressed with the breakfast. The only downside was the booking said we'd have a mountain view and we didn't but the room was very comfortable so that made up for it. We would stay here again.

Very nice hotel, not far from the bus station, and about ten minutes' walk from the town center (downhill going there - uphill on the return!). Slightly difficult to find initially, as there are no road signs. Helpful and knowledgeable receptionists.

This place is awesome!!! Cristina and her husband are the best. The hotel has all the basic amenities snd is located in a nice quiet place about less tgan a kilometer away from downtown. The customer service here is amazing! I stayed here for four days. The hotel staff happily store your excess food, heat it up and serve it to you in a nice plate the next day. Cristina always jumps on the opportunity to help you with your reservations or with ordering food from good locations. She saved me money by finding inexpensive options for a few requests. This is a small family run hotel. Do not miss the experience. It is good!

Good cosy hotel with very nice staff and clean overall. Just the walls seem too thin, so you will hear noises from the other rooms. The wifi is very poor sometimes, so is the breakfast.

The lady I dealt with had a bit of an attitude about it as if it were my fault that expedia accepted my reservation with an AmEx, when the mistake was clearly hers....

Overall, 5 stars across the board. Clean, nice and friendly staff. Its a bit of a walk to the center but definitely walkable. It is also close to the bus station and near some amazing restaurants.

The rooms are quiet and comfortable and the hotel is a short 10 minute walk to the centre of El Calafate and 15 minutes walk from the bus terminal. The front desk staff, particularly Christina speak very good English and are most helpful with travel advice or any other questions. The simple breakfast consists of cereal, bread, croissants, tea and coffee which is adequate.

Lovely staff. WiFi hit and miss in rooms and shower was fiddley but bed, room and breakfast were excellent for the price. Would stay again.

Overall ok stay. There isn't much better in that price range in El Calafate.

A hotel that should be rebuild from the basement up. Very poor finish to everything. No fridge, very old TV, no coffee making anywhere. The breakfast was very minimal. Not even toast. Had trouble with the WiFi.

The hotel is clean and it is located a 15-20 minute uphill walk from the main street. Cold breakfast is basic. Staff is friendly but the hotel manager is not. Very strict and arbitrary rules about the use of common areas and food. Table sitting area opens at 7 am, but if you have an early tour (some start as early as 5.30 am) you are not allowed to use it, and you are also technically not allowed to eat in your room. Ridiculous in my honest opinion.
