Room was comfortable but basic. No drawers to put clothes in. No air conditioning so had to leave windows open and it was noisy in the street. Bar was well stocked and staff friendly.

Highly recommend this hotel because of its convenient location. 5 mins walk to Lund central train station, Lund university and Cathedral. 10 mins walk to Botanical Garden. Shops, restaurants and library are nearby. No front desk staff. Self check in and out, quick and easy.

It was a nice place and very close to the train station. It’s connected to a pub which could be a good thing or not depending on individual tastes. It was very quiet.

Close to the main attractions in Lund. Nice breakfast. Fabulous bakery next door.

A comfortable hotel close to railroad station and everything else in the city

Especially given the location -- between the university and the central rail station and local transportation hub -- this congenial little hotel is an exceptional value. My room was small but attractively designed. It contained the features standard in pricier places, such as a hairdryer. What truly sets the place apart is the kind, caring staff. The one drawback is that if you arrive before 2:00 p.m., you may find the door locked and have to return later to check in.

We lived staying here! It was a quick walk from the train station which was a big priority, the check in at the pub was very easy, and the room itself was big and newly renovated. It felt clean and open. Beds were very comfortable. The pub had a great selection of beers. I do suggest sticking to Scandinavian based dishes though rather than English pub food. (Didn’t get it quite right). Breakfast was nice. Easy access to the university, parks, coffee shops and restaurants without it being busy. Highly recommend!

It is apparently an old building that has been renovated to a hotel. And a good job. All rooms are different, some small bare bones, some large. I had a room with kitchen area with fridge and micro and separate large sitting area. Another room (where I did not stay) had an impressive sauna. Hotel is 200 meters from railway station and in the center of town with walking distance to university institutions (which I visited). Many restaurants and cafes within a few 100 meters.

We come back to Lund as often as possible, and always stay at the Bishops Arms. The location is good and the beds are very comfortable.

Loved our stay here. The pub below was lovely for hanging out at. Good food and great service. Location is a couple minutes from trains and bus stops. Wonderful location-close -very close to open air museum, beautiful church. Spent 3 nights and two days there and could have spent another couple of days there. Loved Lund and our accommodations. Paid extra for extra space- living room and bedroom- well worth it. Highly reccommend this place to call home while in Lund :)

The staff was wonderful & our room was huge! Breakfast was wonderful and we loved the pub too.

I called the reception and told them I was going to be late. They said that there is going to be no problem. I was going to recieve a mail or a text message on how to check in. When I landed I had not recieved any message about checking in. At one oclock AM I had to check in to a hotel with a 24/7 reception. When talking to the staff about this they said talk to the reception. The reception gave me an email adress. No one wanted to help me with the extra expence. Horrible stay.

It was a good hotel. Room was clean and comfortable. The only downside was that, when I stayed at the hotel, the reception was not open until 4pm and they could not accommodate my luggage.

I liked very good internet, location, breakfast very good in nice oldfashioned rooms. Nice with pub on the premises. Hand-held shower much appreciated. Many hotels do not have so it is hard to get the soap off your "bottom". Some minuses: No fridge in room, no kleenex box. Bathroom floor sloped a tiny bit from the shower area towards the sink toilet area so the floor became wet after shower. No sink stopper so I could not fill the sink with water to wash my socks. Door separating stairs/elevator from room corridor shut automatically with a big noise, very disturbing. Chair in work area too low and non-adjustable. Bathroom had almost no flat area (counters) for your things. No guest laundry, as is almost always available in the US.

My sister and I wanted a room centrally located in Lund. We had to add an extra night which required 2 reservations. The staff were very accommodating. Room was clean and breakfast was very good. The staff were professional and pleasant. I will stay here again on my next visit! Thanks!

Excellent, very clean, very comfortable, close to the rail station. Delicious breakfast. Close to University the open air museum Kulturen also shopping cafes restaurants. Lund is a must visit town.

Right in city centre. Very comfortable small room with great mattress and bathroom was well fitted and modern. Really good breakfast in dining room included in price. Just 3 minute walk from central trains station. There is no lobby or lounge - you to the busy bar to check-in. Staff were fast but distant and not one word like "welcome to our hotel". That was my only downside to an nice hotel and at good value.

A unique spot. Very welcoming and pleasant. My room was perfect. Quiet and comfortable. Will look forward to staying there again.

Great hotel with central location. Nothing bad to say. Basic but good breakfast, comfortable beds, nice view from the fourth floor, kind staff. Overall experience was great and I will for sure come again.

We really liked our stay in Hotel Bishops Arms at the very center of Lund. Location is awesome. There was a road construction going on in nearby street, but it didnt bother us, since we woke up early to go to good breakfast and to take our dog to a walk. Our room (Superior room because of the dog) was very nice and spacey. We could have used a fridge, if there would have been one. Our dog liked to stay there well and because room had space, it was very comfortable for us both and the dog.

Great place to stay in Lund- in the middle of town. The hotel gives what you need to stay some nights. Good space in our room, great wifi, breakfast was not the "biggest" but just what you need. Check-in was in the bar. Great staff in the bar!!! There was roadwork so the str was closed. We need to walk from parkinggarage near city sq. But all in all....good.

Good location, we were far too early for check in, but they still let us store our suitcase so we could walk around the town. They were very friendly, the breakfast was excellent and if we had known about the excellent pub downstairs, we would have researched a table. I would stay there again without a doubt!

Rooms were very clean, big bathroom, excellent beds. Breakfast was over the top!!
