It’s a small cheap hotel, what can I say. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. Everything is old and worn out, but clean. Everything worked. For the price it was pretty good.

Wonderful place to stay owners were very nice let us use the pool and parking even after we checked out to enjoy the day before we went home and beat and clean definitely will be returning

What it lacked in much needed updates was made up by the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. It was not dirty but could definitely use some updates. Proximity to beach was awesome and the owners and staff were most helpful!!!

Not the swankiest place on the strip but for folks wanting affordable, clean and great customer service and have your dog travel with you, this is the place. Great area to walk dogs, easy to get onto beach and back to your room quickly, well lit at night time, easy parking plus a nice pool with plenty of seating, good mix of shade and sun. Really like the chairs outside of each room where you can sit and relax. Staff are top notch, really interested in making sure you have a great vacation. This is our second time here, will come agin with fur baby. It’s cool seeing other dogs and dog lovers. All the dogs were well behaved and note, plenty of people stay without a dog. Everyone staying at the hotel were friendly.

The room did not look anything like it showed online. There were live bugs (roaches) in the tub. Loud noise throughout the night. We did not feel safe at all! $160 a night was way over priced. I could see maybe $60. I do not feel i got what i paid for at all.

Clean. Beach access was great. Full size fridge. Coffeemaker. Just wish it came with coffee and supplies. Perfect for what we needed.

Pros: All of the employees were super helpful and friendly, owner was very fast at fixing a couple things in our room. The room was clean and even smelt good/clean when we walked in. Location of hotel was convenient to things and the beach. Pool was nice and cleaned every morning. Cons: a little outdated but everything still worked. Only a couple bowls/plates/silverware/cups. Only 1 skillet. No pots to cook with or dish soap or sponges to wash dishes with. No utensils to cook with either. Might wanna bring your own. I would stay there again.

I booked the motel for our family trip to South Carolina. On the website it said we can get an infant crib for a little extra per day which was fine. We were arriving late so they called to see when we were coming and then I was informed they don’t provide cribs. So at 10:30 at night, we had to go buy a pack and play so my 1 year old could sleep safely. I could deal with that if the room was nice. It was awful. Bugs were crawling around, including a roach. We did. It keep our bags in the room and I kept waking up every hour to make sure nothing was crawling on us. The blankets on the bed were thin and stained. The doorknobs were rusted and easily pulled off. The sink didn’t drain properly so it filled up quickly. The only thing going was the office workers were nice but other than that, I will definitely not be returning. Thankfully it was only for two nights but I looked hard for other hotels. No one had vacancies. Oh and people were smoking weed all over the place. Not so family friendly.

Okay but rooms could definitely benefit to having a broom in the room to sweep the sand. Had a good storm come through and water was coming through the door.

Everything was perfect. Very nice owner was on property. Always helpful, made sure the guest were happy and had whatever was needed. Huge plus had a full kitchen complete with dishes and silverware, Even a toaster. The pool was awesome, even had pool toys. The ocean was right there. You could see the beach from your room. Everyone had balconies with chairs to sit outside. The place was clean. They really thought of everything. It is also pet friendly. How cool is that..Price was awesome also. Would highly recommend this place. Would stay again.

Property is very out dated needs to be remodeled beds were very uncomfortable along with rock hard pillows

Very dirty and swamy. Bathroom inside dry wall was damaged and I have seen few cockroaches and insects as well in the bathroom and kitchen. Some parts of kitchen stove were broken. Very limited and dirty appliances and utensils. Cleaning rating was the worst. I will never go there again.

This property definitely needs some updates to rooms. Flooring was laid poorly, housekeeping missed cleaning our room. Chair right outside our room was as used frequently by others and office staff, we could hear conversations. On a positive note the night desk clerk, Joey, was very helpful!

Amazing! The staff were wonderful!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The owner is a very attentive guy, he gave us dinner recommendations and quickly fixed a small issue we had with our AC during our stay. Overall we had an amazing time.

Pet friendly is the most important to me ...it was awesome

I appreciated that this was a dog friendly hotel and the room had no carpet but finding other dogs hair balls was gross. The site’s pictures make this place look much nice that it is. Balcony door handle is broken, but since we were on the third floor, I wasn’t worried about someone walking in. The tubs water faucet contagiously runs. The curtains are falling off. The furniture is dated and worn. The refrigerator and freezer has rust in it. The linen towels are obviously dated.

The owner is a great guy. But the rooms are awful. The pool is clean. Our refrigerator was filthy. The lower part of the stove was completely rusted out. The wi fi never worked the whole 5 days we were there. We didnt see any bugs which was good.

Ok for the price but room was super hot when we got there and bathroom are old. Tv control takes forever to switch channels. I liked the view it was ok and close to the beach but hotel is old so i guess it was ok!

Took my mom there for her birthday it isn't like one of your fancy hotels to stay in but for it being a old hotel it gave my mom memories of when she was a kid. I would definitely come back to stay cause honestly making memories is better in older hots then the newer ones

No housekeeping beer bottles left in my room and the door was falling

When we first arrived at the property we thought it was decent, and then our sons killed not only one but two roaches! We were very disappointed with the one night stay that we had there, before moving to another hotel. We told the staff about it, as he greeted us as where leaving, and he looked directly at my husband as if he didn’t care, or didn’t believe him. We’re not the type to bash anyone either, but this place was NASTY! Off the list to stay at Mrytle, but Hotel Blue, and Holidays sands south, is AMAZING! if anyone is looking for recommendations!

We had a wonderful stay! Rooms were clean and had plenty of space, price was just right and the location is perfect. It's right on the beach and with in 20 minutes or less driving time to pretty much any Myrtle Beach attractions you might want to visit. We will definitely be returning!

Had to fix their toilet in the room first thing. Sink in the bathroom was backed up and shower handle fell off when I tried to use it.

Staff was so nice and friendly very hard working crew owner kept asking us if we needed help unloading the car loading up the car just very very nice people. It’s very outdated needs renovation but very nice

We liked the direct access to the beach, the rooms' size and cleanliness, and the staff's friendliness. We enjoyed bringing our dogs and meeting all the other motel guests also with dogs. We are already booking our next stay with Vancouver Motel.

I liked that is was right on the beach and easy parking. The pool was clean. Staff was super friendly.
