The shower door was broken unable to slide close because handle and door was off track and the water pressure was a joke., The refrigerator was faulty plugged into a surge protector, the room was very dated and the hotel was sold out no where to move us. 240$ and no comfort what so ever, I actually felt bad for the front desk attendant his hands were tied and no manager on duty.

Staff were complaining about their job while they were checking us in. Rooms are dated. Found hair in the beds from someone else.

Serviceable stay in a clean environment with friendly staff; but the breakfast was a disaster, with meager options that were quickly used up, and took a long time (over 15 minutes) to restock.

The gentleman at the front desk was very nice. Our room was fine, but the breakfast area was a disaster. The waffle machine was out of order another worked but the waffle batter was all over the counter never seen such a mess in any hotel. No yogurt or anything in the fridge. One muffin and two small scones left, two badly bruised and black bananas. It was a total mess.

This stay was a disappointment--but I don't fault the staff, who I'm sure are doing the best they can with limited corporate resources. Everyone I talked to was responsive and pleasant. The hotel clearly hadn't been refurbished in a long time--everything was kind of beat up and a bit grubby. There was no air conditioning in the chamber hallways (there was in the lobby)--if this was for sustainability I guess I understand, but in the humid Richmond heat it was unpleasant. Neither the night latch nor the deadbolt on our door worked--the night latch was completely broken and the deadbolt wasn't aligned in the frame so it wouldn't engage. The air conditioning unit in our room didn't work well. The room was clean-ish. The floor and walls in the bathroom were kind of dingy and the carpet was just run-in. I didn't walk around barefoot for sure. Housekeeping was every other day. Bed was comfortable, although the protective cover under the sheet had both my husband and I sweating in the middle of the night. Shower pressure was excellent. The continental breakfast was fine but they needed more than one person to support it. I was there 3 mornings and often stuff ran out and wasn't replaced, so if you weren't there at the right moment pickings were slim. Hampton used to be my first choice for off-interstate stays, but based on this I would look at other brands first going forward.

A standard airport hotel. Safe, clean, it’s a few minutes from the airport, so worked great for my early flight. Served the purpose, but given how little there is to do in the vicinity, a store in the hotel with snacks/drinks would be nice. That said, there’s a Wawa store about a 5 minute walk away, which has most items you would need.

This hotel was excellent. It was very clean. The staff was informative and well organized. They even provided a shuttle to the airport. They provided a nice continental breakfast.

The room was very clean and the staff was friendly. I didnt get to the pool this time, so im not sure how that area was. Breakfast was good, I just wish there was maybe another meat choice. I thought being close to the airport, we would hear planes all night, however that was not the case. Such a relief!

Taylor was the night clerk and she was incredibly helpful with a dinner recommendation and getting us scheduled on the 4:30a.m. airport shuttle for the next morning.

The young lady at the front desk was so nice and personable. Breakfast was also good !

Everyone I interacted with at Hampton Inn was super friendly and helpful.

Everything was great except the included hot breakfast was lack luster. Limited options and several items were out and not refilled (we checked 3 different times)

My main issue with the room is that it did not have curtains that close. That's right, only a white sheer separating you from the flood lit parking lot. The fabric curtains were not functional.

Our stay at the Hampton Inn by the Richmond airport was very nice. The staff were friendly and efficient. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very clean.

Good for short stay and very convenient to the airport.

I thought it was a newer/modern property but from the looks of the furnishings it was not. But it was only for overnight. Not sure i would stay longer than that.

I was there to run the Richmond marathon and the hotel was nice, the room was really clean and beautiful. After running the marathon the roads were closed and I was not able to make it on time for checkout (11:00am). But the receptionist was really nice and understanding she let me take my time and I was able to take a shower and checkout relaxing. Thank you and i really appreciate all your help and understanding.
