Loved our stay at the Taipa Resort. The position of the resort right across from the beautiful Taipa Beach is just awesome. We had a beach front unit and so woke up every morning to the most gorgeous view and went to sleep listening to the waves. Magic!! The only criticism I have is that the carpet was badly stained, there were lots of marks on the walls and curtains badly needed replacing. Get these things up to scratch and then I would highly recommend the resort as a place to stay

Stunning views. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier or more accommodating and the room was filled with everything you would need for food prep and amenities. The on premises restaurant was lovely for Ala carte breakfast and coffees. Would definitely stay here again.

The room was very spacious but carpet was very stained in many areas, couch and chair were not very comfortable and the king size bed mattress was very very uncomfortable resulting in us leaving a day early. The mattress needs to be replaced. And when we went to the bar for a pre dinner cocktail, the ice machine wasn't working to they weren't able to serve cocktails at all.

requested twin beds. arrived king bed. asked to be twin, they separate. but only one single bed had full set of sheets. other single bed, had bottom sheet only and old wool blanket for top sheet.

Just a short step to a beautiful beach. The food in the restaurant was superb. The staff were so friendly. We loved it

Loved the location and the view but the furniture was very worn and the carpet was worn and dirty.

We stayed two nights to explore the area up to the tip of nz and doubtless bay. This was a great spot for us to do that. Also well served by supermarkets in nearby towns and good restaurants a few minutes drive away. The beach was fantastic.

Great potential. Was trying out to see if I could use this as a fortnightly stay with business trips but I fortunately my room had an insect infestation the first night and that was off putting, I stayed awake for the whole night as these insects were all over my luggage, floor, bed, in my clothes. The hotel explained they accidentally left a hallway door open and it caused them to crawl under my front door I was extremely uncomfortable after that experience. On my last morning before checkout I had a cleaner come knock on my door 4 times telling me it’s nearly check out time that was annoying and when I opened the door all I could smell was cigarettes when she was talking. If I get a response that these issues have been resolved I may consider using this for future business travel.

Beautiful location-close to beach and a great ocean view restaraunt

Reviews are wildly divergent for this place. After being here, I begin to understand. It’s a lot about what you prioritize. Reception area and hallways have all the charm of a church retreat center (although actual rooms were much better). Quality of room cleaning varied by the day. Carpet was clean and vacuumed, but showed some wear. BUT… location makes up for a LOT. Rooms open out onto the beach and you can hear the surf. They are spacious and well-appointed. It’s relaxing and scenic. Food in restaurant is not special, but everything is pretty good and you can eat outside facing the ocean. It’s not luxurious… but it’s right on the water, and you can swim at the really sweet beach right out your door. Staff is friendly and helpful. I thought it was great.

We waited and searched for someone to help check us in. After 15 minutes we found someone to help us. Then the first room they assigned us was still not cleaned, at 3 in the afternoon. The next room was clean.

A nice, clean motel, next to a quiet, beautiful beach. Good WiFi Internet. The hot tub was nice to have, but not hot enough. The bar's closing time (8pm on a Saturday) was too early (though the same was true for the nearby Taipa Tavern)

Nice place, a lot of space, very friendly staff, reasonable price.

What an awesome spot in an awesome place and location

Staff was great the place was a little run down and spa was totally out of order food was good value and definitely a nice Beach across the road. The fold out couch was very uncomfortable.

Lovely place and really relaxing with amazing views. One of my bookings was not apparently visible so lucky we were able to get in as had come a long way. Rooms were immaculately clean apart from the lounge suite and chairs which looked to be overdue for a good clean.

I didnt like the shower curtains

Having stayed here 5 or so years ago we found it lovely so thought we would come back and stay and extremely pleased we did. People and service was great, room very comfortable and spacious and enjoyed the private spa pool very much. Value for money and highly recommended.

We stayed for a 21st birthday the staff were lovely and very accommodating the bar staff were also very amazing will definitely be back again
