The hotel is a fair bit away from Pau centre. It is close to a large hospital with other chain hotels nearby. It was within a 10-15 minute walk to the hospital bus stop but through the hospital grounds, not well lit nor marked. In other words not a convenient location unless you have a car. The hotel staff I encountered were polite, answered my questions but nothing more. The room and bed were what to expect. Adequate but not great. They had a breakfast but I did not partake. Most places are overpriced for what you get but since nothing, I mean nothing else was nearby, one might opt for the breakfast. I chose this hotel for the proximity to a friend's home. Otherwise a place closer to Pau center would be recommended. We spent most of the time in town anyway. Reception has limited hours with a person. I arrived at the off time but fortunately the door was unlocked and i left my bag at the front desk. No one, not even housekeeping was around to ask if it would be ok. I did not fear leaving my bag.

It was great, easy check-in, nice room - basic but everything that was advertised and clean. Only quibble was that one of the soap dispensers had fallen off the wall and been left on the side and the other one had no soap in it. Was probably an oversight by cleaners but everything else was great. Sat outside in the evening, under a tree on the picnic benches. Relaxing, quiet and stress free place.

The gentleman who was on reception during our stay was extremely polite, friendly and helpful. We thought the area would be more interesting than it was. Cannot complain about the hotel for the money.

It was only used as a one night stop over on the way down to Spain

It was just an overnight stop close enough by car to visit Paul and good nights rest for onward journey ,it did exactly what we wanted

Cheap and cheerful

Reception staff member extremely helpful, efficient and friendly with good command of English.We telephoned ahead as we were running late and were given clear exact instructions for checking in, if no staff were present. Easy well lit parking, secure environment. Self service breakfast but started at 6.00 am if you needed an early getaway. Clean room and brilliant for the price. Only concern was walls in en-suite room didn't reach the ceiling! Excellent for overnight stay if travelling or to explore the area.

Basic accommodation but clean, comfortable & in a quiet location - would definitely use again - well worth the money for an overnight stop

The young gentleman at reception was excellent, he filled our ever request to where we laundry was to recommendations of where to eat, and a great breakfast. But his personallity was brilliant and always there to help.would go back at stay for sure. Rooms were clean and serviced and quiet. Great stay

Not the easiest place to find but it is in quiet location and was very handy for our onward journey travelling North through France.

A very good value basic hotel near the autoroute exit for Pau centre. We returned to it following a previous stay when we found it through Hotels.com. Be aware that reception is not always manned so if you plan to arrive between 11am and 5pm or after 9:30pm it is worth phoning ahead to make arrangments for access. The staff have been friendly and helpful on both visits. Reception gave us good advice on where to find a very good value meal on a Sunday night in January - Pizza Pai, near the university and just a short drive from the hotel. The Quick Palace buffet breakfast was excellent value and provided an unexpectedly wide choice. including plenty of coffee! Recommended, especially if you are on a budget.

The Hotel itself is good. Its location let it down for as you had to take the car to get a bite to eat

There is no miracle with that hotel: it's cheap but you also need to have very low expectations. It's worth the price but I am not sure it is worth saving that much money and not to pick up a better hotel... There is nothing shocking but nothing great as well...
