Lovely seaside hotel - stayed for a short work trip but lovely place would recommend!

Very good location. Shame about limited parking but seems like it’s the same all over for the hotels.
We realise it’s a very old building but our room needed a lot of updating. Even the carpet was very marked.

The carpet in my room was full of stains.which wasnt good at all. Bed very uncomfortable too hard .also pillows hard. Breakfast could have been better . Need much more choice. Not value for money what there was

Spent a week at the Alexandra hotel and was overall satisfied with my visit. Check-in was quick and easy and staff offered to help take ourbags to our room.
View was amazing, bed was comfy and was overall impressed with the entire room. Breakfast options limited but good for a relaxing bite to eat in the morning.
Access to activities is very good but was not satisfied with parking options. Free parking was not available for us as we booked through another website despite the description stating there was parking available on-site. No parking permits were available for our stay either so had to pay full price for parking in the nearby overnight car park.
Would stay again but would book through Alexandra's main website to offer the chance of parking without the need to pay.

Lovely seafront room, comfy bed, clean sheets/towels, tea n coffee facilities, hot powerful shower, good value continental breakfast, clean and spacious dining and sitting room, pleasant staff more than happy to help you, would definitely stay here again, room 7.

Wonderful staff, very friendly, welcoming, professional and helpful. Unfortunately, the carpet in our room and our son's room was filthy. Our room was tiny, making it uncomfortable. I would say the rooms weren't good value for the money, however, breakfast was very good value. The beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean. Plumbing very noisy but closing the bathroom door fixed that. I liked The Alexander because the staff were exceptionally good.

Lovely and helpful staff, room was cozy, lovely bathroom and the bed was super comfy, bar was exceptional and had a great range of drinks, bar tender was amazing and extremely helpful, would stay again

A lovely convenient hotel on the sea front. Room was spacious enough and over looked the fairground in front of it. But you could also see the beach and sea from our window too. Nice complimentary bottles of water and biscuits with our tea and coffee facilities in the room. All replenished again for the second day.
Clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. Didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment on that.

No parking available right next to it so had to park in the main Pavilion car park which is a bit of a walk away (for me anyway). No lift as it’s an old building.
This is our second visit and we’ll definitely be staying there again.

I was given a free parking card. Street parking, plenty of space as mid January. Nice clean sea view room. Staff very welcoming and helpful. Always a pleasure to stay here.

Nothing like laying in bed and looking up at a 4”soil pipe and hearing foul waste going through it, also the maids cleaning the other rooms with the hoover going at 7.30am on a sunday was not what we needed after a late night.

Perfect view from Superior Room,appeared to be all new, great shower and bed/linin. New hall carpets,staff wonderful, breakfast great. Best of all position to old Weymouth

All staff were very friendly and helpful. The older property was well kept and clean and our room was very comfortable. It was a long haul for two seniors carrying luggage up to the fourth floor, but staff did offer to assist and we declined the help…which we regretted!

We chose this Hotel because of it's location right near the Beach and Shops
It's been a difficult couple of years for everyone Especially in the Hotel Trade so we don't want to come on here and give it a bad review.
Let's just say the Hotel was what we thought it would be.
