Property conveniently situated on a main transport route. However, the rumble of trucks passing by at night could be heard and felt.

Great place, very central to all the Rotorua tourist spots and town centre. Awesome spa baths too!

The owners could not speak English, it was very difficult to communicate with them. The photos on the website did not match what it really looked like. The 'spa' was cracked & very old. There was only 1 dishtowel & nothing to wipe the counters with. The website said that there was coffee & a plunger in the room, biscuits on arrival, hairdryer & toiletries - there none of those things, only a liquid soap dispenser. The bathroom looked nothing like the photo, the floor was old & stained. There was no nice shower cubical & no nice basin as per the photos on the website. Very disappointing.

It's a dated property but well maintained and clean. Also great value and very well located to all the great things Rotorua has to offer.

Property was good, owner was very kind. Only negative was that the wifi was poor annd unstable and dropped frequently.

This is a slightly tired and dated motel, but for the price paid we cannot complain. The “spa tub” bath has seen better days , and we would not have wanted to sit in it, but for showering it was acceptable. We slept very well as the bed was surprisingly comfortable.

Cleanness is not very good and needs a lot of work done in the bathroom area toilet seat was broken and I had my 4yr daughter that was scared to sit on the seat. It’s disappointing this property staff were friendly but rooms definitely need work and upgrading.

They tried to put me into a cheaper unit when I paid for the studio with outdoor tub. Got into the unit and the tv didn’t work the taps on the spa tub was stiff and not working properly and the shower only had two settings cold or nothing. Never come back again.

Staff were friendly and room was clean. There was no sky tv which was advertised online. The wifi connection horrible. The room didn't have milk in the fridge. Had to wait couple of hours. The bathroom could use some TLC. The shower head was rusted and corroded needed to be changed.

Nearby traffic noise was terrible, particularly trucks in early morning hours.

Nice motel, there was some noise from trucks at night.

Overall this wasn’t a bad motel to stay at, but found it very dated and the garden’s unkept

Great place at a great price. Room was plenty big and double spa bath is great to relax in. Also off the Main street so quiet. Very good value and would stay again on next trip to Rotorua

Liked the spa pool although water was never that warm

Convenient location. We were able to book in about 12:00. That was really good. Friendly. Overall very happy. Only thing extra there could have been is we would have appreciated a bit of milk in the frig for coffee etc.

Owner was very helpful and assisted promptly. The room had a comfortable feeling to it, no complaints from me! I’m actually sad I couldn’t stay any longer than what I did, I tried to book again for a fortnight’s time but it was booked out. My favourite would have been the tub 👌😁

Clean and spacious rooms, the jet spa was fantastic.

It was great relaxing in the spa bath. The staff at check in was very good. It was a nice bonus having two cookies in the room as well as the usual tea and coffee.

Stayed 2 nights, upon check-in was given some milk for our room. The next day, there was no milk in our room, so proceeded to reception, to be told by the receptionist that they do not hand out milk on the second night. How pathetic

When checking in, there were non speaking or reading english people at reception, was a very confusing situation. Complained about the toilet cistern, was broken and making a continuous high pitched noise after the first night. supposed to be fixed the same day, not so. Was told they couldn't do anything about it as it was old and broken, they wouldn't lay awake because of it , so shouldn't I . After a bid of a heated discussion told the man to leave my room ,and solve the problem the next day this was at night. Next day I was offered a different room. If the money was not already taken from my visa account I would have walked away. The room was two nights rehired again, to different People, without the problem being solved , the People complained about the problem, but were told nobody else had complained about the problem. I would never recommend this place to anybody, as they are no professional people that know how to deal with customers , and charge money for sleepless night . My brother and sister in law were offered two bars of chocolate when we were leaving . a very bad experience

Clse enough to the MTB trails. They bike path there is very clsoe to ride to the trail head.

Accessibility. Didn't like the flying of the flag of China next to the NZ one. If that had a tourist function, fine, but I suspect it was more of a political statement, yet more evidence of the creeping, insidious reach/infiltration of our country by a vile, un-elected Communist clique. For that reason, I won't be staying there in the future.

Excellent value for money. The property was a little dated but the size of the room was large, the extras of cutlery, crockery, teas, coffee, milk and biscuits were great. The spa was fantastic after a hot 30 degree day. For the price I definitely recommend this motel.

Very comfortable bed, tidy and clean units everything i needed but better toileteries would help when you forget the soap and dont know whats in container..smelt yuck. lots of sign language to sign in as English not spoken was not a good arrival look!

Easy check-in. Spa was a bonus. Shower water pressure not great.
