Did not rec vip experance and the room was not great

There were flight delays for all three of us. When we reached Amsterdam, I sent an email to reservations at that Maslow to hold our room and advised them of our arrival to reschedule our transfers. Two reminders were sent. The transfers were rescheduled. Thete was no response on our reservations. The front desk lady said "no show .. we have given away the rooms. Big argument till we got the night manager who made available two rooms as per our original order through Expedia. This argumentative lady needs some coaching in customer service. The following day we lodged a complaint either front desk manager and he said he will get back to us. No response. Terrible service at the the front receptin desk.

Very comfortable and the hotel has been kept up really nicely. I came here after 2 days at a horrible hotel. Very glad I switched. The bar is super nice as well as the restaurant. The pool was relaxing.

Beautiful stay at The Maslow. Room was nice and warm with a really great coffee brand. Pool area is so serene. Only issue is once again the VIP upgrade were not available like ALL the other stays I had at hotels thats VIP. Although it was a relatively quiet weekend they apparently didn't have any upgrades available. The VIP Premium drink in room....... a soft drink. I also never get a response from Expedia regarding the VIP Hotel issue.... Are you guys even taking this up with the hotels?

The property is OK. Nothing stood really out to me. It was a good hotel but does not have much character.

My stay was lovely front desk staff were very helpful and efficient room service staff were great special mention to Paulina for turn down service between wed 26 apr to fri 28 apr she was super helpful

Staff was exceptional, and amenities were fantastic.

Nice hotel, but frequent power cuts due to load shedding meant frequent resets of air conditioning.

The property is well maintained and the environment perfect for relaxation.

Far from an enjoyable experience in what has been a great hotel. Total power failure with no access to rooms. No communication from staff. Mouldy bathroom, dusty hair dryer. Standards have fallen unfortunately

Very well appointed property with an excellent location, attentive staff and an outstanding spa.

The room was excellent. The service and willingness to help was pathetic! There was no kiddies breakfast available for my children which is disappointing! The service received at check-in as well as at the breakfast was very poor. I expected more from such a renowned hotel!

Last 2 stays were terrible service. Hotel reception did not know about the room types, concierge and reception as well as room service did not answer the phones continuously. Very bad experience

It’s a business hotel first and foremost in the perfect location to do things in Sandton and the surrounding area. So if that’s your requirement it’s great. If you have kids then it may not be for you.

Amazing hotel

It was really disappointing for a 4-star establishment. We stayed in an Executive Suite, and R1000 was taken from my card for “incidentals” but what for God alone knows because they don’t have a minibar. What other incidentals can they think of? The dinner I ordered in-room and had to pay by card anyway as well? I had to check out quickly as I had an emergency at the office, so the front desk taking their time caused me to eventually just take my bags and leave. Now they sit with an extra R1000 for nothing. It’s also a gross misrepresentation on all the hotel listing sites stating its one of the amenities, but when enquiring, I was told they only give you water in the minibar. So in fact, its an empty minifridge, not a minibar!! The place was also not all that clean and they can surely take some time to sort out the upholstery and carpets just a tad. It can definitely do with a serious refresh!
