We booked a Supreme Queen room and we paid via card ,the price on the web was $121 for the room after discounts.
We received an email advising that we needed to check-in by 5pm or contact the office by phone.
We arrived at 3.30pm to a reception not open, i rang the number given to me and held on for quite a few minutes, the receptionist was running between the motel and the caravan park across the road. We finally got our key and went to our room to find that we had a small room with a double bed not a queen.
I then checked my emails to find i had been charged $131. I went to reception to sort it out but again no reception.
I will never return to the Sturt Motel again, our friends that also stayed received the room that they booked. Also had no sleep as the light coming through the door and main windows was excessive. Overall rating. 1 but on a positive note the room was clean & tidy.

Overall a pleasant stay. The room was immaculate with cutlery , coffee cups, tea and coffee. Felt safe with a fire extinguisher present in the room. A deep 'clean' smell. TV & Radio. Comfy bed.

The property was nicely set with lovely front garden. The shower in our cabin needs to be looked at. Very slippery and the taps made loud noises when turned on..

I had a modern looking, clean and neat room. The downsides were that the WiFi was not very reliable and I had a room facing the main Highway so it was noisy.

There was no Wifi as the hotel description claimed, and no one said anything about it being down, unless asked. Good thing I didn't need internet access for anything important because the data signal out there is bad.
The motel room was very nice for the price but the cabins (3 beds) weren't all that good.

There was no one at reception when we arrived, but were easily contactable & quickly checked us in. The room was quite large, decent bedding, good heating & generally comfortable. The bathroom was large, but the shower set up did mean that a significant amount of water escaped onto the floor. The room lacked natural lighting.
The motel is a bit out of the way & quiet, but not close enough to walk into Broken Hill. As we were heading off early next morning we only needed somewhere for the night & location wasnt a concern.

We were upgraded to a cabin, at no extra cost, lots of room and very quiet. We had been on the road for a while so were very grateful

Fabulous room, loads of space, full and recently renovated kitchen. Giant shower space, separate toilet. Bathroom sink could be replaced to reflect the standard of the rest of the unit. Lovely people. Would definitely stay here Again.
