Excellent location near many shopping malls within walking distance. The property is run down in way too expensive for what you receive. Staff are all very friendly and service oriented.

The staff has been helpful and accommodating.
The only disappointment is that a horrifically loud DJ & nightclub next door rob you of an expected peaceful sleep on Friday and Saturday night. In fact, I'm not sure if the immediate next door Protea Marriott isn't the source of the offensive noise. Don't stay here on a weekend.

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Shower is luxurious compared to what we'd been used to in Africa, much appreciated. The service in the restaurant wasn't the best, waiting 1.5 hours for food with 4 hungry kids wasn't good, not sure if that was a kitchen problem or server problem.

Very poor customer relations. Very bad wifi and not able to sort it out leaving me with no connectivity for half my stay. Once I got moved to another room I finally had wifi. Check out was a nightmare with very unhelpful staff member also not being able to assist me with my Marriot rewards.

Check-in was very slow. Attendant gave me the wrong room number, so I had entered a room where someone was already residing in - awkward. The attendant also did not charge for the shuttle service upon payment of the room as requested, and had to then pay next morning, causing a delay. Other than that the quality of the rooms are great.

I was most impressed and grateful for the honesty of the staff. I had not paid my taxi due to lack of cash when I arrived at 2.30am and the taxi unfortunately had not come back when I checked out. I left money in an envelope at the front desk asking them to hand it over to the taxi driver whose details I did not have. They gave it to him. I am so grateful!

The Staff members were very nice. I enjoyed the breakfast buffet. I recommend this hotel for anybody visiting Lusaka.

I probably had the best night's rest here, the bed was ridiculously comfortable.
Although the room was a very nice size, as was the bathroom and walk in shower, the bathroom smelled and looked a tad moldy, so that was a bit of a turn off.
The complimentary breakfast buffet was wonderful and the staff was pleasant, though i wished that they had more knowledge of the surrounding areas/things to do. When asked, they really drew a blank. The rooftop pool looks like a kiddie pool though, which was a little disappointing.

Protea was great with everything working but no gym, poor internet reception and no business center.

The staff are very nice, the hotel is in a very good location, I have stayed here many times and I was one of the first customers when it opened.
Say high to Timo behind the bar, you will recocnise him from his laugh !!
