Great value for money in the heart of the old town. Suitable base of operations for exploring Prague on foot. Reception handled our requests with aplomb. Would stay again.

Everything was perfect, had a two nights stay at this hotel, close to everything didn’t need to use public transportation at all, I really enjoy my stay at this hotel.

Our stay at Golden Crown was comfortable. This hotel is located near to Metro and tram station - just across from rotating head - Kafka’s head. Convenient to travel to city attractions. Breakfast was good with many varieties. Breakfast staff were helpful and courteous. Check in was efficient. Staff at reception was helpful and knowledgeable with city attractions.

A hidden gem. It is not a large hotel, only a few rooms per floor but that makes it quieter. Found it by mistake but I would definitely stay here again. The rooms were comfortably large and clean. Feels luxurious, especially after staying in some small spaces in Europe. The best shower I have had with the waterfall head. I only wish I was staying longer than a day!

A really nice hotel in a great location. Faultlessly clean and bed was comfy, perhaps the room was a bit basic and looked a little underwhelming but the bathroom section was lovely and we had everything we wanted in the room and a bit more. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and we found it a great base to explore the city

The hotel is conveniently located within a 5-10 minute walk from the main old town. It’s nestled in a charming area, with a variety of shops right at your doorstep and directly opposite the renowned ‘Head of Franz Kafka’ sculpture by David Černý. The reception staff are extremely helpful and service-oriented. They provided us with valuable suggestions for our stay, always greeting us with a warm smile. The breakfast spread is impressive, offering a variety of hot and cold dishes, fresh vegetables, fruits, and a special mention for the Prosecco. The ambiance is inviting, making you feel as though you’re residing in a beautifully renovated, historic building. The rooms are well-appointed, clean, and comfortable

The hotel is very close to public transit and 2 grocery stores. The room was very nice and spacious.

Room 101 with no shower, have to use the bathtub hose to attempt to have a shower. A mess in the bathroom.

The golden crown is an exceptional hotel in Prague. The room was top notch with all the facilities you will need. Old town and the cathedral are walking distance.

Fine hotel in location and service. State of room is ok, as cleaning can improve some and bed was sagging. But large room. Breakfast was good quality, though was not restocked, so some Items not available.

Centrally located in Prague. About a 10-15 minute walk to most places like main train station and Charles Bridge. Room was a good size and clean. Breakfast was a buffet.

The hotel is only a few mins walk away from 2 metro stations (the Yellow & Green lines). It was super convenient for us to utilize the public transportation from/to the airport. It’s within 10 min to walk to the old town. Our stay included free buffet breakfast and it’s sufficient, though there were a lot of varieties during our 5-day stay. The staff at her breakfast was very kind. The room is very clean, a good size and it has very high ceiling and blackout curtains . The only complaint I have is the small TV on the wall, wish it was a bit bigger!!! The fridge was stocked with drinks that you can purchase, with 2 free bottles of water on the desk. We declined daily housekeeping during our stay.

I stayed for 5 nights at Golden Crown Hotel and the first thing I want to commend is the staff. What was nicest was that they were available 24/7, so if you needed anything no matter what time of the day or night, they were available to you. And what was even nicer was how nice the staff was at any given point in time. They all seemed to know how to get you what you needed and how to help you; I so appreciated the impeccable customer service. The second thing that was great was the location of this hotel. Located on one of the oldest streets in Prague, it has a very centralized location. I do walk rather quickly, but it only took me 5-7 minutes to get to Wenceslas Square and about 10 to get to Old Town Square (I recommend learning the back roads to get to places quicker). We had the free breakfast for one day, and it was pretty nice. You also receive a discount for the Italian restaurant next door, which also is pretty nice. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Golden Crown, and it will be my future go-to for my stays in the Golden City.

Great location, staff friendly and very helpful , they were always willing to assist, and with a smile!! The room was clean, big, and beautifully decorated. One thing that I was impressed with was that before my arrival, I contacted the hotel regarding transportation from the airport to the hotel, and even though the hotel doesn't offer that service, they kindly made arrangements for someone to pick me up at the airport, and also to take me back to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Had an amazing time visiting the Christmas markets for which the hotel is well situated. Staff were really helpful and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable.
