Great quiet gem in the middle of nowhere.

The facilities were excellent. the dining room was great, the hosts were wonderful.

The property has a wonderful atmosphere. It is set beside a very nice river and offers a unique dining experience. I would highly recommend staying here and the value is incredible.

Convenient location. Room was a bit cramped. A bit of highway traffic. Lovely water view. Accomodating staff.

It is the people that make this a memorable place to stay. Everyone is so friendly, kind & helpful. Very quiet at night despite being next to a major road. We stayed over a Sunday night & it was only at breakfast the next morning we realized we were not the only guests! Be aware this is an older property, there are stairs to climb, & no tv although wifi is excellent. Make sure to take in the sunset from the deck, it really is spectacular.

We had an excellent stay at Salmon River Country Inn. Clean, quiet rooms, excellent staff and great food. Just minutes away from excellent beaches and walking trails.

Salmon River is by far the nicest inn (of four) that we stayed at during our NS vacation. Our room was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the river. The grounds are gorgeous with ample room outside to enjoy a drink or delicious supper from their restaurant. Their staff ensured we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Thanks!

A small, family-run inn. Fabulous location, friendly staff, good food. The owner actually walked down to the sea to get water to boil our lobsters! If you are looking for an authentic experience that is NOT a chain hotel, this is it!

I have booked a number of trips over the years in expedia. This is the first time I felt like taking the time to write a review. What went from being just a place to stay to check out the area, ended up being a highlight of our trip. The property is amazing and has no shortage of character. The property owner and staff are some of the nicest heart warming people we have ever met. Some of the scenery around the area was very nice. But the stay was definitely a highlight. We will come back again the next time we are in the area. I feel Salmon River Country Inn is under rated and if any group of people deserve a visit, its these folks.

Such a sweet little place! Very welcoming and with me being celiac I was very surprised with the special accommodations for the continental breakfast! The price was amazing for the quality of the room and service! Also has an amazing view! Thank you for making my sisters birthday stay a special one! :)

The property is clean and beautiful. Margret, the owner was very nice. Only downside is that it is not close to anything and there are no tv's

A comfortable Country Inn. Great food and every staff person was lovely, friendly and helpful.

It was a really nice place to visit. I only wish that the rooms had televisions and a fridge. It ended up raining quite a bit during our stay and there wasn't much for entertainment.

The people and the view were the best part of the stay. Unfortunately, we were not there for dinner - the menu looked superb!
