Really enjoyed my stay, even though the property is a few blocks away from the main tourist areas. Neighborhood can be a tiny bit sketchy, but the service and quality make up for it, as long as you know where you're going you'll be fine. I certainly didn't feel at risk while walking, unlike some other cities in Colombia. The staff bent over backwards to make sure I had a good stay, I'm sure they will do the same for you.

Very conform

The hotel is clean, and the room was spacious with AC and comfortable king size bed, rooftop pool is really good with a great panoramic view of the city. The breakfast buffet is also a plus. The only downside is that there is a lot of trash next, and behind the building, which is not something such a nice hotel should have.

The hotel is great! The service is very good, very clean and you feel very safe.

Property and room very nice, a lot to do around the area,just make sure you are aware of your surroundings when out and about.

The king rooms are very nice and a great view. Staff superfriendly. Great hotel. I just wonder why there is a mountain of garbage on the backside of the hotel. For 100usd a night the management should have the money to get it cleaned. very bad smell outside of the hotel. All over good.

Was put off by our reception when it was pointed out that I had only selected one traveller instead two for our room. They wanted to charge an additional fee for my wife even though most countries base pricing on double occupancy. Settled on paying the additional tax for our stay. It was 1pm (after travelling all night to arrive in Santa Marta) yet they steadfastly refused to give us our room until check in time of 3pm. Hotel was not full. Really poor reception but the service from the restaurant, cleaning, pool and other receptionists were very good. Room noisy even though it’s double paned glass you hear all the street noise and hallway noise. Nice rooftop pool and lounge area. Centrally located and near parque de los novios where all the nightlife is. Breakfast included was 4/5.

The hotel itself was nice but the area around it was horrible. Very dirty and a foul oder. Convenient though to the beach and the historic area.

Excellent room, airco minibar, and good bed, the restaurant food in the morning and lunch is very good. Super nice swimming pool and a gym where you can exercise. Stayed in many places in santa marta and this one of the top 3!

The hotel was comfortable & clean. Use them to connect you with taxi service. When you get a good driver get their info & treat them right. Street service in this city is very sketchy. They will rip you off, sooner or later. Somebody needs to hold these people accountable …..,,. Let them strike forever

Wonderful property! All staff had great communication and made us feel right at home. The food was excellent and the rooftop pool was a blessing. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Pretty nice for a hotel in Colombia. Breakfast buffet was excellent. Rooftop pool was nice. Beds were comfortable. No complaints about the property itself. Behind the hotel looks like a landfill. In general, Santa Marta is very dirty with garbage piles everywhere.

Good location and nice view

Clean hotel located close to grocery store, restaurants etc. The rooftop pool needs some more chaise lounges. It is convenient that they had a full restaurant on site open until 10pm.

I really like the staff they were attended and helpful.

I didn't like the fact, that as US citizen I had to pay the local taxes charge only to the Colombian citizens

Las fotos de expedia no le hacen justicia al hotel. The photos in Expedia don't do them justice. The staff is excellent, the food es great, the rooms are great, great amenities, my kids loved the pool. It is a great place for business purposes or vacation. or both. I truly recommend it.

The stay was good. Room was clean & the air conditioning was working well. The personal coffee maker was not working (I am sure it would have been changed out if I had asked) & the shower did not have hot water for the duration of my stay but great view of Santa Marta/ friendly & helpful staff.

We visited this hotel before and then all was excellent. But now…… I asked for a quiet room and they gave me a room opposite the elevator. I complained but received no answer. One Sunday morning a waitress was brushing her hair and putting on makeup in the corner of the breakfast room where they prepare the coffee…. Groze. We are early risers and breakfast should start at 6 am. On various occasions breakfast was not ready at 6 am and staff showed up around 06:10. Disappointing experience in this hotel. In addition the terrain at the back and left of the hotel has become a garbage dump. Not sure if we will return here

Great customer service, staff address every single concern immediately. Claudia, Lizette, Marlon and in general all the staff were amazing. Hotel needs more care on common areas , quality of towels, and cleaning in the shower.

No complaints one of the best hotels I have stayed at lately. Also perhaps the cleanest.
