Warm & kind Laritza greeted us & made us feel at home. She arranged our shared taxi ride to Vinales which we had requested the night before leaving Havana. What a delicious & plentiful breakfast she prepared! Laritza gave us suggestions on where to visit in the area with a map to find our way around. This home in the residential Vedado area has a staircase to the floor above. We look forward to returning to El Amendron Rosado.

This place was so nice and our host was amazing. They were kind and understanding. Upon arriving, they gave us a map of places of interest in the neighborhood and how the layout of the neighborhood. There was a front gate with a lock that kept everything safe and secure. We ordered breakfast from our host every day and it was always a treat. Fresh fruits were amazing. All of the food was so fresh. We ate on a patio every morning. The host was available to answer any questions. The location was ideal for what we were wanting. Close to some good walks and the Malecón. Easy to get a car and go to other parts of the city. Our room included a king bed and a twin bed, two rocking chairs, a small bench, bathroom with sink just outside the bathroom. The shower was like a time machine and had multiple types of jets from regular shower to wall jets. There was a safe in the room for our valuables. The balcony in our room looked over the street. The stained glass was nice and the ability to have plenty of light and privacy in the room was perfect. Small details like bath robes and bedside lamps were wonderful. Has both 110V and 220V outlets. I highly recommend staying here!

We had a wonderful stay at El Almendrón Rosado, with big thank you to Laritsa. She welcomed us our first few days in Havana and explained the basics to know. Highly recommend and best breakfast!! Muchísimas gracias, hope to be back soon!

I really enjoyed my stay! The neighborhood was very safe and quiet. Also the staff was amazing, I felt like I was at home!

This is a nice property in Vedado. Far enough from the Old Town that it’s not so busy but there are nice places to visit nearby. The room was nice. The Airbnb offered to exchange my Canadian dollars. After I gave them $ and they brought it back, I realized that they were given a VERY poor rate (CAD$1 = 50 pesos, when the market rate = 120 pesos). It made me sad that they (and I!) were ripped off. Don’t change money here. Change it on the street, or at a bank/Cadeca if you have to, so as not to be ripped off.

Our host was super lovely and helpful in any situation! If you have questions or if you are looking for something, ask her, she gives better advice than google und makes good prices for anything!

Laritza is a great host. She is caring, helpful and attentive. Rooms are comfortable and clean. The property is a short walk from the bars and restaurants on Ave 23. I felt very safe walking around here, any time.

Luca and his family was amazing. The room and breakfast terrace was very nice. The hotel is located in a beautiful area in Havanna. Luca turned out to be our private guide for the holiday, which was absolutely fabulous. Thank you so much!!

The hotel was awesome. Felt totally like home. The staff was tremendously friendly and helpful - Especially Yanet who spoke perfect English and was an angel. The location was perfect and the breakfast at the terrace every morning couldnt be better.

We had a very short 1 night stay since we arrived right after our flight at 9pm and left the next day at 7am. However, the person there was very nice and helpful. We had a very detailed e-mail before our arrival so that we could pre-book taxis, have info about Havana (prices, transportations, taxis, advices), we were also able to change money directly at the casa... Great service is provided and everyone was so helpful even though our stay there was quite short. I would for sure go back if I went back in the area. Recommended !

The property is quite far from the touristic center, costs around 10cuc (=10eur) to reach some sightseeing areas, such as El Capitolio. This is actually a BB room and not at all a 4*hotel. However the staff is quite friendly and always reachable as well as they give a map with explanations and a tasty homemade breakfast! Wifi is accessible but is not free (1-2cuc for 1 hour usage).

Lovely, big, comfortable room. Excellent, fresh breakfast. Staff were very helpful and provided a map with restaurant recommendations and local attractions. She even came ti tell me when the daily free Wi-Fi kicked in!

Super friendly folks here. We had no issues getting to the location or getting checked in. The breakfast was great. The location was conveinent in the city and no issues getting around. Several restaurants nearby.

I hate to say this because the woman who runs this B&B is a good person, but this is a business and a fair opinion should be valued by all. The mattress was the worst Ive ever slept on and I spent roughly 6 years in the military as a young adult moving in and out of barracks. It was also slightly overpriced when compared to another location in the same neighborhood. The breakfast was fantastic, bathroom was clean and new, AC worked well, and what appeared to be homemade soap was a nice touch. An investment in new mattresses and bath towels could really be the difference between guests either feeling indifferent about their stay or good about their stay when they check out. With that said, I dont remember reading similar reviews so they definitely deserve a chance to make it right, and if they want to maintain that price point its something that should be done quickly. We were in the green room, it was very large and airy, the ac worked very well and the water pressure in shower was very good. The beds were comfortable. The breakfast was ok, but the coffee was really good. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel was surrounded by beautiful houses, some of them very run down, but that’s the way it is in Cuba. The area is very residential, so quiet at night, but still very close to a big avenue where you can pick up a taxi. Just one thing to bear in mind : there is a steep staircase up to the hotel immediately as you open the front door, so not good for peaple with mobility problems.
