The La An Hotel was amazing. A charming small hotel on the Islet very close to busy night market and city centre. Our rooms both had balconies overlooking the village. It was great for sitting out and having a beer, and watching the world go by. Anna and Lily, who worked in the front desk area, were delightful. They helped us with everything, from booking trips that were not on any tour info, ie mural village, to booking Hoi An Memories, even helped us to book Grab for bubble tea. Best front of house staff on our trip. The beds were huge and comfortable. Other guests clearly loved this hotel too as everyone was so friendly at breakfast. We even joined up to hire a car for one trip. I was unsure of the stairs, as my legs are stuffed, but I had confidence here. Thanks so much Anna and Lily for making our stay so amazing. I can’t wait to come back!

It’s in a wonderful location. Easy walk to Old Town and some nice little places to eat less than 1 min walk away. The people who work here are sooooo nice and helpful. They made my time in Hoi A memorable. The beds are super comfortable, great AC, and nice swimming pool. Will stay here again for sure next time I’m in Hoi An.

Can’t say enough great things about this place. Spacious and comfortable rooms, great amenities (pool free breakfast), close to all of Hoi An’s attractions and the best service we’ve had in Vietnam (we give Anna and Lily 10 stars!!!) Thank you for a wonderful end to our holiday, wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Dirty, smell old and we found cockroach

The Hotel location is near to night market, very convenient as it walking distances. The toilet sewage can't flow out too fast and cause a stale smell, which my wife complaint much. Overall the services was wonderful.

We have the chance to stay 2 nights in this beautiful hotel Anna and Lili made our stay wonderful for my parents and I. They can do everything to make your stay memorable. I recommend for everyone to enjoy this beautiful city!!

We had such an amazing stay here. The room was comfortable and clean, breakfast was good and the pool was quite nice too. The location was also ideal for us as it's on a quiet street but just a short walk to the river and to the night market which are much busier areas. The two ladies running the front desk were also super lovely and helpful with booking transportation, excursions and renting bikes. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in the area!

Staff were incredibly accommodating and kind. The hotel itself was clean and aesthetically-designed, the pool was small but quiet and perfect in the heat, and the location can’t be beat (quiet side street off of the night market). We would definitely stay here again!

Although I only stayed in La An old town for 1 night, I felt comfortable and warm like at home. Great, clean rooms. Staff are very friendly. Thank Anna for welcoming me so much and introducing me to destinations in Hoi An. She is a very thoughtful and sophisticated person. 100% recommend La an hotel to you

Very nice stay. Room has everything you need. Place is in best location. Just walking distance from the river to see the lanterns and 15 mins from coconut basket. Lovely staff. Would definitely stay again and recommend this place 100%

The hotel is just a short walk away from the old town area. The included breakfast was quite good and there is a modest but quite nice pool on the fifth floor. Anna, at the front desk, was especially helpful arranging a tour of My Son as well as transportation to our next destination.

Anna and Mien are Stars! They are so professional, courteous, polite and are very good at making suggestions and seeting up rides for the next adventure. I love that area in Hoi An and I put many miles on my running sneakers! Great room to stay in. The Old Town locals get up early and I like that. Anna and Mien are great conversationalists. Lovely stay at La An hotel - the staff were very helpful including helping us sort tours. Very close to the old town and the night market but also tucked away enough that it was quiet. Our room was just off the lobby so lacked a bit of privacy.

Ana and all staff were wonderful! Very clean and very comfortable bed! Good breakfast. Great location for street food on the river where the lantern festival is, and for evening market.

The room was really nice and spacious. The shower was good and breakfast was okay. The location was great- very close to the main area of Hoi An but still quiet at night. The downside to our stay was that the staff were quite pushy. They really wanted us to pay for tours and transfers through them and were kind of relentless about it (even sitting with us while we were having breakfast to ask if we'd booked stuff yet). I understand it's a little more forward in Vietnam than we are used to but it was a bit much as we were questioned everytime we went through the lobby.

The staff were lovely and welcoming. They gave us ideas of things to do and offered to book us taxis or arrange trips. The hotel was great and good and excellent value. It was right in the heart of the town and just minutes from the river

Location was great. Just off the beaten path with great restaurants and cafes nearby. An easy walk to the old town and the night market on the way there. The room was decent-sized, clean and comfortable. The hostesses and staff were great. Value was incredible.

Considering all of conditions,it's affordable to stay. The location was very good and it's very easy to explore to most of the major places on foot.The building was not new but was properly maintained. Both of the receiptionists are nice and made some arrangements smoothly.I enjoyed the conversation with them.too. I heard some noise from the next room but it didn't make so much issues. One thing to raise the negative point is no partaion between my room and the next room at the barchony.

Small choice for breakfast, get there early as it did go cold quick as not constantly heated, but enough to get you through before finding street food. Amenities in room include hairdryer, kettle, fridge. No safe, all valuables to be left downstairs in lockers on reception. Warm welcome by receptionist. Cons: the wood around the plug sockets meant that as approves and even their own plugs for the hairdryer didn’t fit in. I think we had 2 sockets in the room that could hold anything. Booked a balcony room and expected views, just saw the rooftops of buildings to the side with no views at all. Keys were to be left with reception when you went out (not digital locks), however these were just left in a basket on reception which meant anyone could pick the key up if no one was around and unlock your room. Overall a good stay.

I liked almost everything. Friendliness, cozyness, breakfast, unique location, price. Rooftop pool, which I had twice for myself, with a view of old Hoian. A Tran Hotel is a stone`s throw from the action, yet in a fully local neighborhood. If I needed to list negatives, they are all minor. Strange retro/fake eco design, no view from room, doorlock to private balcony not working.
