Gem Riverside is a beautiful hotel with an outdoor/indoor shower and clean spacious room. I love the location that it’s away from the noisy streets and vendors. From the moment we checked in, Ruby went over and beyond to help make our stay the best. I lost my passport at the airport and she called the airport and was able to track my passport, made reservations with new drivers since we had problems with our hired driver, and after we checked out she is even in contact with us to arrange for excursions and drivers. Ruby you have made our family trip to Vietnam 10 times better with your honesty and kindness.

This really was a gem. I really appreciated the staff who helped get around and gave better prices for the local attractions and transportation. The pool was super clean and the stay was comfortable. Special thanks to the staff at the front desk who made us feel at home and let us use the bikes to get around.

Utmost underrated hotel in hoian I have been here many times since 2019 And still good but hope you to discount little because getting review from others are important. Love here place always

We booked this stay quite last minute as we hadn't planned to stay overnight in Hoi An. But so glad we did? We were welcomed warmly and the hotel was lovely with a big pool by the lobby. We had a nice balcony as well. Location-wise, you can walk to the shopping streets and food after crossing a narrow bridge.

The worst hotel I have ever stayed in. To start with the photos were the complete opposite of the reality of the rooms and hotel. The entire place looks like it has not been cleaned or properly maintained for years. The amenities such as the pools were dirty, the pool bar was non-existent and just full of rubbish. All walls and windows are dirty and broken. When we got to our rooms there was mould everywhere the TVs weren't working, the furniture looked old and broken and the kettle was completely rusty. We wanted to take a shower and noticed that the towels were stained and the water from the shower was going everywhere floating the entire bathroom. When drying the floors noticed cucaraches in both rooms. When asked for another room we got two of the “new rooms” but the situation was the same. What made it worse is that on our third night, my 9-year-old daughter woke up with rushes all over her body and when we looked at the bed there were small bed bugs. When I told the guy at reception he simply said that this was the room that I chose when they asked me if I wanted to change and therefore the were no refunds or cancellations. We left that same morning losing two nights of paid accommodation. Would not recommend this place to anyone unless is your last option.

Ruby, Lily and Hung made my stay very comfortable and had time for all my questions. They were friendly and caring about my stay in their hotel and city. The pool was very nice and quiet. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again. The back rooms like mine had a noisy rooster that was in a property behind the building which had a consistent 4am 4 or 5 calls each morning but still an ultra positive stay!

We loved our stay at the Gem Riverside. The property was in a great location on a quiet street. It was only a 5minute walk to the old town. The room was massive with a comfy bed. The highlight for us was the pool - it was fantastic. It was very clean & had a shallow and deep end. We would definitely come back!

Like: The staffs were nice and polite. The hotel location is good. Don't like: Bath tub surface is not even, it slopes down from half of the tub to other end and very slippery, very dangerous, I almost fall couple times taking a shower. Breakfast area is very small, hotel has some chairs and tables set up outside to eat breakfast and was bother by people trying to sell merchandise and begging for money.

Great staffs and customer service

Quiet hotel that's away from the main activity but only about 8 minutes to walk to central market. Staff are super friendly and want to make sure you enjoy your stay. Pillow top bed was comfortable, absorbing the shoulders and hips after a day of walking around. Room is big and modern with lots of light. While it is a little out of the main tourist area, that is great if you want a quiet and comfortable room with friendly staff. Riverside 'gem' was truly a gem and I'd be happy to stay again.

Great services and very friendly staff. Located in a quieter area but walkable to the center and most attractions. Room is very spaces and clean. Common areas need some updated and attention. Breakfast is very limited but sufficient.

Brilliant place to stay. The staff were great and were great with recommending tours and booked them for us. The Hotel was about a 10 minute walk into town. Highly recommend this Hotel.

The shower had no screen on it so everything got wet in the bathroom when someone showered. Peeling wall paper, damaged flooring. Rooms in need of a refresh

Fabulous Hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. I only had breaksfast once - they are not currently offering a breakfast buffet as not enough visitors have returned since Covid, but you could order from the menu and what i had was very nice. The rooms were clean, spacious and above all for me, nice and quiet. Location wise, it is a short 910 minute) walk to the old town where you will find the markets, shops and a great choice of restaurants. The hotel also had a lovely swimming pool and they offered bicycles for riding free of charge. Overall a great hotel and highly recommended.

What a great place to stay in. The hotel is in a very quiet area very close to the old city, restaurants and night market. The receptionists Mr Bing and Ms Ruby were extremely kind and very helpful. They explained what to go and see while in Hoi An and also helped us to book tours which was cheaper than the tour offices in town. They also stored our bags until the evening so we had our mind at rest, We would definitely recommend a stay in Gem Riverside Hotel. We will be back.

The location is great, the staff very friendly and helpful. Wonderful breakfast, walkable to everywhere. Loved.

Room had some dead bugs, a live spider, and aome ants. Room got really hot during the day because you cant keep AC going at a decent temperature unless you are in the room. Hotel staff was great and friendly and the area is nice

Very large nicely furnished room. Balcony with views of river and hills in the background. Peaceful neighborhood within short walking distance to the old town and night market. Will definitely stay again.
