Great location

The hotel is tucked away at the end of the Main Street. There is construction going on in the front of the hotel, which is closed off, but taxis can still come pretty close to the hotel front door. My room was not facing the construction, so I’m unable to speak on the noise level on that side, but the mountain view rooms were terrific with a wonderful view and very quiet. Lovely front end staff - very helpful and super courteous. V everything is very walkable from this location.

Really enjoyed our short stay here, very clean and modern and just a short walk into town. Great value for money too! Other reviews mentioned a lot of construction on the street, but this didn't affect our stay at all. Would love to stay here again if we return to Queenstown!

Our stay was fantastic. Hotel is quite affordable and clean. Great location, easy walking distance to all the surrounding area. Bathrooms can be a little annoying with sensors turning lights off but otherwise and excellent stay!

An overall wonderful experience. Unfortunately there is construction being done right there that can’t be avoided but was not disruptive. Only for convenience. The staff were helpful and welcoming. The rooms were very clean and minimal. There is a nice terrace to go out on if the weather permits. We were lucky to view some fireworks. Would return again.

What an amazing hotel! Rooms were basic, but very comfortable. It has everything I needed few a few night's stay. The amenities the hotel offered were amazing. I loved having a hot-drinks vending machine on each floor complimentary. Great facilities, laundry room, storage, community room, rooftop, etc. I loved my stay here, and would book again.

Get location close to everything. Lovely view from the mountain view rooms. Clean and reasonable size. Some light wear and tear on some of the furnishings, which is negligible. Bed what comfortable enough bit couls have done with a mattress topper. Light and heating controls are excellent. Staff were friendly and accomodating. Biggest issue was soundproofing. Could hear my neighbourings in their rooms before bed and when leaving early in the morning. A little more soundproofing would have been nice possibly.

We’ve stayed at Mi Pad 4 times now and absolutely love it! The price and facilities along with the location just really cannot be beaten! A 5 minute stroll to everywhere in the CBD with ample access to public transport also! There is current road works happening on the street which meant it was a bit of a longer walk to the carpark but this didn’t dampen our stay at all. Will definitely be staying again!

Easy walk to shops, clean rooms

Superb location, room, facilities.

Lovely place with great customer service and modern-technology conveniences. I loved that I could check in via an app on my phone and use my phone as a room key. The room itself was a bit small but was perfect for one. I have to say, the WiFi was a bit spotty at times but the comfortable bed, clean bathroom, and wonderful views made up for a lot of that. Wish I stayed for more nights but now know that the next time I’ll back in Queenstown, I’ll stay here.

Mi-pad is very handy to the CBD and Lake Whakatipu

Perfect in every way! Clean , quite, Great that you can store you bag so I could look around Queenstown before flight, And free hot chocolate mechanic on all floors, Great view of the city, so walkable. Love my stay will be back again 😀

Everything you need and in a great location

Everything was great for a solo traveler. Easy to walk to town and restaurants, very clean everyone was nice. Only issues were it had terrible pillows and weird bathroom lights. Hopefully those are easy fixes But I highly recommend this property

The hotel was great, room comfortable and very close to downtown and very reasonable, so a 5 other than location. Unfortunately city roadwork makes it impossible to get to the entrance by vehicle. So all excursion pick ups had to be a 5 minute walk away, and dragging bags was a pain. But overall I thought the modern and eco friendly lights etc. were cool and I recommend it... just be prepared!

I had a great stay. I had everything I needed for a short stay. The location is awesome right in the Center but most importantly staff is so friendly and helpful and Millie and Harry made my stay in Queenstown one to remember ☺️ thank you for all the great tips and being welcoming hosts ❤️

Nice spot just doesn’t have a bar so no where to go on Easter and Christmas weekend because of NZ laws. Would’ve been nice to know that before hand

Very nice modern and clean place for a good price! The rooftop was very nice and there are plenty of comfy lounge spaces in the hotel. There is a hot drink machine on every floor which was wonderful. The room was clean and modern with cool lighting. The shower and toilet have glass walls as a heads up. Wi-Fi was great and lots of chargers in the room. There is construction going on which makes parking and access annoying. There is only the public parking available which is $3/hr and free overnight.

Much better than I expected for the price. Room is small but efficient. Just stayed the night and it did the job.

The property itself is nice, but the road construction in front of it makes it difficult to get in and out with luggage and makes the parking lot next door inaccessible without walking all the way around the block. The only problem with the room was that it was hot and the a/c did not cool it down enough to sleep comfortably until around 4 am.

Great location but not ideal with road works, although these weren’t operating when I was there. Staff were great - friendly and ‘onto it’ which I appreciated. My hairdryer wasn’t working which only found out after a shower. If housekeeping checked it when the room were cleaned,this would be helpful

this an outstanding hotel new and modern.

Loved the mi-coffee complimentary machine. Also liked the intelligent lighting in the room. Loved the common areas on multiple levels and the view of the city from out tv in our room through the rooftop terrace cameras.

Free hot drinks were very good.

I have spent four years in hotels living in one city and working in another. This would be by far the worst place I have stayed in for comfort. Customer service was excellent, cleanliness great and shower amazing. That is where it ended. I think the concept of automatic lights is an excellent one for sustainability. I managed to get 3 hours sleep in this facility. The bed seemed to be one of those old fashioned ones where the springs poke you in the back, that they did. There was not anti-roll and my partner is 30ks heavier than I so I ended up rolling into his back. To avoid this I lay on the edge of the soft bed where the springs poked into my side. When I got hot (we couldn't reduce the aircon below 18 degrees and it felt like 24 degrees in the room) and put my leg of the sheet and the bathroom light turned on as on a sensor. This happened a number of times I moved in the bed as well as the TV turning on itself twice???? At 3am I gave up on the bed and grabbed my sleeping bag. I had just done a 3-night hike sleeping in DOC huts which were far more comfortable than this bed. I positioned myself on the floor which was far more comfortable than the bed. However every time I moved one of the lights would come on lighting up the room. At 4am I hopped back into bed and top and tailed with my partner which seemed to work other than the heat in the room. I am one of those people that posts positive reviews so this had to be super bad for me to rant as much as I have.

Beautiful, well kept hotel rooms. Excellent location. There was a lot of road construction around the hotel that made it hard to access by car.

Too much construction around hotel, especially at entrance.

Very clean rooms and comfortable bed. Check in was super easy. There is currently a lot of construction in the area. I stayed on a Sunday but I imagine it might be pretty noisy on weekdays.
