So peaceful and beautiful!!

Although our room in the Glenview Lodge was pretty basic, it didn’t matter because you are literally surrounded by so much beauty! I mean, all you need a room for is sleep anyway, right? The breakfast at the castle was wonderful! We only stayed one night, but will recommend Glen Eyrie over and over again! Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful castle with breathtaking views. Quiet, family friendly, and extremely hospitable. Included breakfast was incredibly satisfying. Definitely plan on returning for an extended stay and to try the tea party and tours.

Beautiful Property. The room we stayed in was in a basement and not quite what I was expecting. Very clean and great amenities though. Breakfast was very nice and much more than we expected.

The location is absolutely beautiful, I love how they had a pretty consistent breakfast menu but yet they changed it up just a little bit every single day. The only area that really needs some improvement is the hiking on property. They need to spend the time to have better Signage and trail indicators. You really can’t tell when you arrive to a place and you really don’t know where to turn. This would be a great opportunity for a local Boy Scout project or a group that’s working on. Otherwise it was perfect. I wish we hadn’t gotten on the hiking trails and wasted a good hour.

What a lovely place to rest and enjoy God’s creation! I love the intentionality of this place.

The property is stunning. Quiet, peaceful and one with nature. The staff was very nice. The natural beauty is hard to describe. The accommodations (oak cottage) are modest but clean. The carpet has some stains but it’s clean. Beds are comfortable. There are no tv’s in the room which is fine for us but might be a negative point for some travelers. Looking forward to breakfast in the castle.

We stayed in one of the lodges (Bighorn). The property as a whole is breathtaking, soothing, and unique. Look forward to lots of meditative walks and relaxation. The castle is well….. a castle! Gorgeous. Breakfast was a luxurious experience. The staff were kind and so hospitable. The food is not exactly standard continental breakfast. It’s chef prepared; as a pastry chef, it warmed me to my core to see kielbasa, French toast Cassarole, hash, shakshuka, etc. Above and beyond for sure. The lodge lodging was massive. There are purposefully no televisions and the rooms are utilitarian. Comfy and utilitarian. For Garden of the Gods lovers, the Glen Eyrie property has those rock formations too! In fact GG is like a 5-10 minute drive.

Who needs a TV when you have wildlife, hammocks, trails, mountain views, Garden of the Gods, tours, etc right outside your door. The staff you can tell love and are proud working there. The rooms are spacious and beds super comfortable. Stayed for a weekend tournament and would come back for a longer family stay.

I was saddened to hear political views promoted by staff.

We greatly enjoyed out 2 night stay at the Big Horn Lodge. Beautiful property and clean rooms. The breakfast provided at the castle was deleicious with both classic breakfasts and unique items to choose from.

Our family was pleasantly surprised by the unbelievable beauty and exquisite charm of Glen Airey’s facilities and outdoor splendor. We were able to do some fun hiking and explore the area and enjoy a wonderful gourmet breakfast during our stay. Would highly recommend and will most definitely be making plans to stay again when in Colorado Springs.
