Definitely not luxury as advertised, but for the price I wasnt expecting it to be. Essam was lovely, great host! I would say the mattress in room 4 needs replacing as it completely sinks to the middle, making it quite uncomfortable. Other than that the room gave us exactly what we needed. Short walk in to the centre for a concert and somewhere to rest!

It was good apart from the squeaking neighbouring door from around 6am that was with someone in and out A LOT! And loud shutting. Oil the doors.

Essam was very helpful and the place was surprisingly very nice! I didn’t know what to expect but I was very pleasantly surprised. Will use again if I visit Cardiff

We were greeted nicely on arrival. Accommodation close enough from City Centre to walk. You have to be lucky to find a parking spot near by, quite a busy road. Parked at the park, which was luckily free from Saturday to Sunday. Would not call it "luxury" room ourselves but all was fine for what we needed.

Lovely host. Very welcoming. Bed very comfy. Plenty of tea and coffee in room.

We arrived late, but were helped to check in after closing time. Very steep staircases but otherwise comfortable. Overall good value for money.

Had a pleasant stay, close to the city centre - 15 min walk. Can't really be described as luxury, it served a purpose, Essam the host was very pleasant.

Room was great, bizarrely located inside a weight loss clinic, which at least made it easy to find. On street parking was a bit of a hassle and ended up quite a way away which is fine, but worth knowing in advance.

Excellent stay, very friendly chap and very helpful, room was excellent and the bed very comfy. Would definitely stay again!! Not to far walk to town center and park/castle. All in all 5 stars!

This small Guest House is clean and convenient. The gentleman who welcomed us is very nice and provides lovely extras like bottled water and chocolates. This is our favourite place to stay when we visit our daughter who is a student at Cardiff University.

Friendly Guy with limited English asking for ID and I didn’t have any was a tricky start. Reciept for hotel says weight clinic as that’s part of the business, my office is going to love that. Shown up 3 flights of stairs where live wires on view to pokey room. Bedding looked like a dog had bit through it. It was late and I’d only booked 1 night so I persevered but how they can call this luxury is a joke and I’m a builder who’s stayed in some dumps. Plus side it did have a kitchen and fridge on level 2 and WiFi was excellent but I wouldn’t stay again.

Was ok for two nights. Noticed a lot of cracks on the walls, and ceilings. Was convenient for my stay, as it wasn’t too far away from the Millennium Stadium

Room disappointing: cramped, under the eaves, small low-level window with vertical blinds only (no curtains), 2 very thin pillows, lumpy mattress, 1 medium-sized towel rather than seperate towels for hands and shower. Manager helpful, even inviting me to leave luggage in the room as long as I wished on departure day. HIGHLY misleading to describe as 'luxury'!

It has the basics and it is clean. A long street in front with free parking spots. Walking distance from centre(20 mins)

Lovely place to stay. Room was very nice. Very clean. Bathroom and and shower were clean. The owner Essam was very helpful and sorted anything that was wrong instantly. I was surprised that we were the only ones there. Overall would definitely recommend it. We will go back .

Arrived in Cardiff by train for a one night stay for a concert. The accommodation is on a residential road about 20-25 minutes walk from the station. Check-in was by arrangement as there is no 24-hour reception, but I was able to arrive earlier than the stated check-in start time, which was great. Sadly my concert that evening was cancelled so I make full use of my room for the rest of the day

Room was very clea , comfortable bed and good shower. Easy bus access to the city centre and plenty of free parking

Good reception from the owner/staff, good position with food and drink close.
