An upscale and adorable set of Tiny Homes is tucked away off 95 for a great stay overnight on our journey south to FL. There are several chimineas, grills, and a gas fire pit. There are Adirondack chairs and hammocks for outdoor relaxation. There is also a wiffle ball field across the street and a tight rope between two trees for fun. Walking distant to the Tipsy Tomato and Rocky Mt Mills for food and entertainment. There is also an indoor Putt Putt with arcade 2 min down the ride but could have walked the half mile as we noted new sidewalks along the way. Highly recommend for a fun change from a hotel stay.

Easy door access. Adorable, clean, warm and cozy. Loft bed super comfortable. Location of tv was perfect for loft and main floor viewing. Looking forward to staying in a different next time too!! A holiday decor inside would have been nice. Also, please supply plasticware for eating & wall bath soap would have been nice.

We absolutely loved staying here on our way further North. We wish we could have stay’d more than one night. Surprisingly cozy and quiet. We felt safe and had a lot of options within walking distance for food and drinks. Even though some of the homes are close together, we never heard our neighbors and it was booked solid the night we were there. Check in and out was seamless. We simply loved it. We stayed in the Neuse.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at River and Twine. It was cute and clean and very unique. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because, well, it’s so tiny! Accessing the bed is a challenge and with luggage we had difficulty moving around one another on the main floor. That’s the price you pay for a tiny house, I guess. I’m glad we stayed there but might not stay again only because it was a challenge for us to move around.

It is an interesting and different place to stay. My granddaughter love staying here because she feels like she is staying in a dollhouse. It is clean and well organized. Making the steps to the loft may be challenging to those with physical limitations. The location is in walking distance to many restaurants and microbreweries.

Very fun and interesting concept! Location near the Cotton Mills Restaurants is outstanding. Two challenges: 1. The upstairs loft is very small - it is a shame the ceiling couldn't be just a bit taller. Even sitting up on edge of bed can be uncomfortable. 2. The Air-conditioning appears to go off overnight and then the upstairs loft becomes very Hot! Overall would visit again but not that functional for more than a 1 night stay along 95 ... but for that purpose its terrific!... especially with a pet!

Bathroom had an unpleasant odor and lots & lots of small flies. Possibly time to clean septic tank.

Came in later than expected but that wasnt a problem with their remote check in process. There was an issue with communication between Hotels.com and River and Twine with them not getting our email, but thankfully we called and it was straightened away instantly. The tiny house (The Tar) was spotless and cozy with a very comfy bed. The shower was small, but that didn’t matter much. The location around River and Twine is spectacular if you love the outdoors or want a locally brewed beer. I can't wait to come back!

Tiny Homes are so popular nowadays and this placeafe us realize why! SO CUTE! The homes are well done and very cute and quaint! If you are looking for space I would look elsewhere bc these are tiny homes and that is a true statement! We had a fire pit outside which was so stinking cool, literally had the whole place to ourselves and it was glorious! Plenty of parking, coffee, breweries and pizza are literally a 10 minute walk, super peaceful and safe! Highly recommend!

Oh my gosh. My husband and I booked a tiny house for a quick getaway for our anniversary. Just something fun and last minute to do. What a treat. We stayed in the Cale Fear house and it was super clean and just an amazing space. The surrounding were nice. I loved that we could do a campfire if we wanted. We were able to walk to the bars and restaurants in Rocky Mount Mills with no issue. We had an absolute blast and will definitely return in the future. I’m so glad we came across this place online.

Drafty Uncomfortable in every way in every room I’d never stay again and will not recommend

Everything was great! It's not exactly somewhere I'd want to stay again, unless for the novelty of being people who'd never been. Everything was really well maintained and pretty much exactly what we expected. But the price was a little high for the service received (not much at all). It felt more like an Airbnb situation than a hotel, but wasn't quite the price of either. We felt like we were paying more for the novelty than survive/comfort.

It is too tiny and don’t have enough utensil for family with little kids.

We never stayed in a “Tiny House” before. Our granddaughter loved it because in reminded her of her doll house. Getting up and down the steep steps to the loft was challenging but doable for senior citizens. Loved the place overall and was within walking distance to great restaurants.

1st time in a tiny home. So clean and new. Had a pond in back and great restaurants in walking distance. Great atmosphere. Great people that came fro. different areas to stay. Just excellent all around

These tiny homes are very nice, but very small! It was easy to check in and very clean. Walking distance to Rocky Mount Mills for the breweries and food. It is a little pricey for a souped-up camper, but a covenant location. Nice to check this off of your list, so you can say you done that.

The check in/check out was super easy. They were even nice and gave us s’mores as a treat :)
