Just a word:excellent service

Spacious clean room, decent breakfast, hot water for tea available (24/7) - bring your own instant coffee if you would like coffee before a very early start for a trek or tour. The hotel was kind enough to keep my luggage while I was going on a trek.

Nice and cozy place with lovely staff and simple but tasty breakfast. Very nice area; close to everything. Bring some earplugs for the not so nice guests that bang doors and the barking of the dog in the house.

We've been travelling for nine months and this is by far the most friendly and hospitable hotel we have stayed in. It will definitely be one of our highlights of Peru. The room was clean, the beds comfortable and the hot water showers were fantastic. The gentlemen who works there was so nice and helpful and we felt he really went above and beyond for us. We were in a safe area but he walked us to our taxi on the last night. We had no problems storing our bags while we did the Colca Canyon. The area was off the main street but within walking distance of the main plaza. We wish we could have this quality of accommodation everywhere we went. Thank you for a fabulous stay!

There are no services at night, nobody is available at the reception for any need or emergency

The property is on a small beautiful historic alleyway. At night I alley is unpopulated. I’m not sure I’d walk on the alley myself at night. Rooms are fine. There is nobody at the front desk usually. If you are leaving early on a tour you will miss the breakfasts

Wow ! The streets around is beautiful and quiet. We loved the location and the room was perfect. However, the reception service was really bad, as there was almost always no one at reception, only in the morning. Reception was empty from noon to the next morning

Wonderful staff, including the owners! Beautiful area with many restaurants and bars options. Excellent breakfast with an amazing view! The walls and doors could be a bit thicker, but not an issue for us.

Casa de Irma is just 10 minutes walking distance to the Arequipa Plaza de Armas. Viviana was very helpful and woke up early to let me in when I arrived in Arequipa @4:30 in the morning. Let me sleep and deal with check process in the afternoon. The hotel also offered luggage storage while I’m away doing the Colca canyon tour. Thank you so much Viviana.
