Nice hotel. Comfortable room, nice breakfast options. Not crazy about the co-working space in the lobby during the day and the loud parties with DJ at the bar at night. There seems to be constant traffic on the main floor and little room for hotel guests. Also, inconsistent service at the front desk.

For the most part, I enjoyed my stay. Some of the rooms have radios/guitars and my neighbors took advantage of them. Loudly in the middle of the night. I called the front desk and they were helpful in getting them to quiet down. The walls seem to lack adequate soundproofing so keep that in mind if you’re a light sleeper/hear everything. I pack earplugs for that reason. The room was clean and you can tell the property is well maintained. Staff at checkin/checkout were welcoming and helpful. The Lobby area is great for drinks and lounging. Can get crowded at times, but overall a nice vibe. I liked the As You Are restaurant on site. Wait staff were wonderful and attentive. Everything I ate was really good. During the course of my stay I had breakfast, lunch, & dinner at least once and each time the experience was consistently good. I’d recommend and would stay again.

AMAZING! This Ace gets my favorite vote. You all did it right and I loved the lounge vibe that welcomes you when you walk in. The room was perfect and enough room to feel spacious. The train stop is across the street and immediate access to A and C trains. I’ve bookmarked this locations as my forever stay when coming to Brooklyn.

I am a regular at the Ace hotel in Brooklyn. This visit was no different from previous ones (very comfortable and room, lovely breakfast options downstairs, location that meets my needs) except for the service I received at checkout. The attendant seemed annoyed that I asked for a receipt for my stay, told me that I would get it later in the day and seemed upset when I insisted that I wanted to see it while I was there. I’m still waiting for the receipt, four hours after checking out.

Roomy room from our experience in NYC. Convenient location to Brooklyn sites and to Manhattan. Great restaurants within a 20-30 minute walk or less.

Loved the locatio. Room was decent size for NYC. There was a halffull glass of water on my night stand when I got in the room...looked like an honest mistake by housekeeping. Otherwise the room was clean. I'd stay there again

Lovely stay and would highly recommend the place. Neighborhood is fine but you need to know which streets to avoid. A lot of unsavory people hanging around the streets depending on which way you go when you leave the hotel. Staff so helpful and kind

The upgraded room we reserved had a heating and cooling problem which resulted in our inability to control the temperature in the room. After the first night, we were switched to another room without the view or quietness as this was a street side room. Otherwise the hotel amenities were very good and the restaurant was excellent.

Loved having Black Seed next door. Would have preferred coffee option in room and wifi in The Lobby common area was inaccessible to our group (worked in room, just not elsewhere on premise). Staff is amazing - don't let any of them go.

We loved the hotel itself. But I wanted to drop a review here because the restaurant downstairs had terrible service. Also the in room service is just not functional at all. We couldn’t even get a water or coffee delivered, called with no answer. Got receptionist to try, no responses. Supposed to order from a QR code but menu doesn’t have water in it so can’t order. It was a mess trying to figure it out. Had breakfast at restaurant first morning and we said never again, terrible inattentive and unprofessional service.

This is a funky hotel. The restaurant is high end and it’s a popular place for people to hang out in the lobby. It must have great wifi for anyone because so many people have their laptops open in the centre area they call The Lobby.

The property was nice, clean. The "skyline" view was looking into the building next door. No dresser, just some open shelves. No coffee in room unless you wanted to pay for their in-room stash. ($20 for a small packet of sanitizer...) Staff and food was great. Inside, hotel was quiet. Area was good - you're in a big city so some areas are not good - was next to Goodwill and people sleeping on the sidewalk.

The lobby and public areas feature attractive and distinct decor, creating a unique atmosphere. The lobby has a coworking space vibe, with many people working around. The location is walkable and conveniently close to the metro. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

I booked 2 rooms because I was attending my sisters wedding. We arrived close to midnight because we were coming from a different state and drove in. I have stayed at many Hotels including the W, Omni , SLS to name a few and have never had an experienced like this. The staff member that checked us in was very rude, unfriendly and had an attitude. I will never stay here again. When we arrived at one of the rooms the entrance light wasn’t working and the toilet seat was broken. Thank God for person who services our room, when we stepped out and came back it was fixed.
It’s unfortunate because the area is walkable and offers many options for its guest.
