Nice rooms and cool rooftop bar. Yet quiet at night. I’d stay again.

What is disappointing experience, hotels.com and mama shelter really dropped the ball. We were forced to stay in a room that smelled like sewage as the hotel cannot do anything since it was booked through a third-party, as a member I’m very disappointed, and are staying in Lisbon. This hotel is overrated, for example accommodations customer service we have experienced in Europe at other places, considering taking my business elsewhere from Hotels.com as well as they were unable to this plate as being in an unsanitary situation.

It is absolutely lovely little boutique hotel! Loved it. Restaurant and bar was really special. Sunday Brunch was amazing!

Our stay at Mama Shelter Lisboa was largely positive. They warmly welcomed our French Bulldog, Finley, providing food and water bowls in the room. The hotel's central location is excellent, just 3 minutes from Rato metro station. The rooftop area is a highlight, offering a cool, authentic atmosphere. We enjoyed the ground floor foosball table, though the rooftop one lacked a ball. Staff were friendly and professional, even helping with a pre-arrival jacket order. The on-site restaurant has a great vibe. While the lobby gets noisy at night, rooms are well-insulated. Areas for improvement: 1. Air conditioning in room 401 was extremely loud for the first 10-15 minutes. This was reported but not addressed. 2. With only two elevators, wait times were often long. 3. The missing foosball ball on the rooftop wasn't replaced despite our request. Despite these minor issues, Mama Shelter Lisboa shows great potential. If they address these points, they could easily become a 10/10 establishment. The location is fantastic, and we appreciated the pet-friendly approach. The staff's kindness and the overall atmosphere were definite plusses. While the elevator situation and the unresolved AC noise were disappointing, they didn't significantly detract from our stay. We're rating our experience 8/10, seeing room for improvement but still highly recommending the hotel, especially for pet owners. We hope this constructive feedback helps Mama Shelter Lisboa reach its full potential.

Very conveniently located hotel. Fun stay: roof top bar and the restaurant with DJ nights were a bonus. Nicely decorated and fun place.
