Very nice old building, former mill, that was restored and turned into a hotel. Welcoming lobby with friendly staff. Large, quiet and updated room with comfortable bed and modern shower. Located on the river with a nice riverwalk. Attractive restaurant/bar on premises ($$$) where you can view old mill equipment. Nothing else within walking distance but short drive to downtown area. Decent breakfast included. Would stay here again if I visit the area in the future.

This is a unique boutique hotel. It is fairly new and a renovation of the oldest mill in Columbus. We were happy to see original floors, brick, beams, etc.
The bed was super comfortable, excellent shower, and we could not hear anyone else on our floor. The entire hotel was very quiet.
It was a huge plus to walk the riverwalk!
We will return.

The front desk was great Stephanie & Summer was knowledgeable and helpful when we checked in. The breakfast menu needs help in that area not consumed very disturbing. The children above our unit very disrespectful running back and forward end up breaking my sleep and had to drive back to Atlanta. The property is great and walkable, great views and parking lot was nice. The next time to avoid unexpected noise I will like a top floor .

A posh hotel in an historic mill building on the banks of the Chattahoochee River. A riverwalk stretches north into a park and south into the city. One is able to cross the bridge into Alabama. An engaging stay.

A wonderful experience, everything was top notch. A beautifully renovated old mill with modern taste and comfort, located on the banks of the Chattahoochee river. Friendly staff and a superior restaurant. Highly recommend it. Could not have picked a better place for a birthday getaway.

From arrival to departure the customer service was absolutely amazing. Everyone I encountered was kind and very attentive. The property was absolutely beautiful and had such charm. It was very clean too! The location was perfect. 10 out of 10 I definitely would recommend it!!

Appreciated that they were pet friendly. We had to evacuate Florida for the hurricane and there were very few options for us. Love the character and preservation of an old building.

This was by far one of the nicest hotels we’ve ever stayed at. I can’t give them enough praise and appreciation for the amazing stay. I wish every town had this hotel, and if we ever come back to Columbus, we will definitely book this gem again.

We loved this hotel with the mix of modern and the original old mill. The restaurant is beautiful along the river with the original mill stones and the antique bar. We will definitely come back!

Very cute and quaint. Rooms were quiet, but there is a train that comes by occasionally, but it’s quick. Not walking distance to the majority of dining though. Wish they had an EV charger for vehicles.

Beautiful rooms and location. The restaurant was great. Breakfast was okay, but more of a continental breakfast than a full breakfast.

Very poor breakfast for the high quality of this hotel comparable with a Holiday Inn or another hotel with lest quality but better breakfast. If is not for this issue I would be happy to provide 5 stars but breakfast is the most importan meal of the day.

The City Mill property was beautiful! The area seemed to be in a bad part of town. There was close-ish dining but did not feel safe walking.

Staying at the City Mills Hotel was an excellent experience. The surroundings are breathtaking. Everything was extra clean, even the mild scent throughout. The staff was over the top professional and warm. It was an exceptional stay and we will be back! The attention to detail was just WOW! We had our pet and they provided, treats a comfy bed and bowl.

This hotel is a wonderful addition to Columbus. It’s in a quiet location so you can still reach the offerings of Uptown Columbus, minus the business of the foot traffic. The staff is friendly. The room was wonderful. The complementary breakfast area was great. I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was a staycation for business and using this hotel was the best decision I could’ve made.
