great place to stay and conviniently located

Day 1 - We checked into our room only to find the bedroom area clean, but urine was all over the toilet seat, and there was a used towel on the floor in the shower. So after complaining about this we were moved into a different room. Day 2 - We attempted to use the shower in the morning, only to find that the shower was backed up, and so water overflowed out of the shower and on to the floor. We called the front desk at 8:40 am and requested to have someone fix the shower immediately because we were on a VERY tight schedule and needed to take our showers. A maintenance girl showed up at 10 am…over an hour after I called for maintenance. Day 2 Continued - On our way out, we requested (with two different front desk clerks) that our room be cleaned that day. They told us that all rooms are cleaned daily, so there was no need to make a request. We returned that night only to find that the room had not been cleaned at all. Used towels were still on the floor…beds were not made…no new clean towels were left in the room, garbage was still full, and BEST OF ALL, there were combat boot stains left ALL OVER the shower floor, from the maintenance girl who eventually unclogged our shower while we were out. Day 3 - We returned to find that the room had NOT been cleaned AGAIN, even though we (once again) requested that the room get cleaned that day. Day 4 - One of the 2 beds was made…garbage was taken out…but nothing was wiped down at all.

Wonderful property to stay at. Staff was awesome and attentive. Only complaint is lack of parking for bigger vehicles that can’t fit in parking garage.

Nothing stellar about this hotel but it’s clean, reasonably comfortable and in a great location.

I loved everything about this property. I cannot give it anything under five stars. If I can give this 10, I would the staff was so nice and pleasant. The housekeepers were so nice and pleasant. The rooms were outstanding and very clean the housekeepers make sure I had extra towels and they made sure that my room had water in it and everything was the way that is supposed to be, I don’t know who did the hiring for this establishment but they did awesome job.

Staff at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice and modern. Comfortable beds. It’s in a great walkable area with lots of restaurants and a couple grocery stores close by.

Excellent customer service, loved how friendly and welcoming the staff was. Parking ramp is available right across the street if you don’t want to do valet parking. Lobby is beautiful. Rooms are nice. Only complaint is that the floors could’ve been swept and mopped better. Would definitely book this hotel again when we come back to St. Louis.

I stayed at this property twice over the course of two weeks. Both times, I was surprised by the customer service ethos of the check-in staff. The first time, I was treated rudely by the woman checking me in, and the second time I was behind an Asian gentleman whose native language was not English. I was dismayed by how annoyed the check-in clerk was with his English ability - although I'm sure his English was better than her Chinese - and how little effort she made to ensure that he understood her directions on where the elevators were, what check-out time was, etc. Even I had trouble understanding her because she talked so fast. When I got to my hotel room, I noticed that there was a used washcloth on the floor of the shower left from the previous guest. The shower door is one of those glass doors that rolls along a track, and the stops on either end of the track were set in so far that the door neither opened nor closed properly. The plastic baffle between the fixed and the movable shower doors also made a screeching sound when I opened or closed the door. Neighboring guests probably thought I was torturing a weasle every time I used the shower. In all, the facility was otherwise nice, the hotel is situated close to bars, restaurants, and the hotel district. If it weren't for the staff, I would have given the property a full five-star rating. If I return to St. Louis, I will not be staying in this hotel.

The bed sheets and towels were dingy. Other than that, I enjoyed my stay. Courtney checked me in and i really appreciated the fact that she didn't announce my room number out loud. With so much trafficking going on, that was really thoughtful and made me feel safe. Writing the number on the card is the best way to do it. Everyone was super friendly and was smiling throughout the hotel. I almost felt like I was on a resort. If I come bsck to visit, I would definitely stay here again.

Great place. Room was very clean and comfortable. All staff members been over backwards to be friendly. Lots of dining options within walking distance. Definitely will stay there again.

Staff and location was great. Linens were lacking and smoke detector had a blinding flashing light all night. Second floor view out window was drab.

Love this place

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived. The staff was friendly and very helpful in getting us checked in . My only disappointment was the toilet bowl was not cleaned properly if cleaned at all after the previous guest due to visible evidence that a brush would have easily fixed. A used hand towel and washcloth left on the mat in the bathroom to be removed were still there when we returned, but the garbage in the sleeping area was gone so obviously someone came into the room. Housekeeping did not need to do anything major in the room because I washed the glasses and made the bed as I always do if the sheets don’t require changing. I hope that this was just an isolated incident and not indicative of constant practice. I would stay at this hotel again, but I will be checking for repeated offenses. Overall, I did like the hotel service but I want to be able to say I love the service.
