A hidden gem in Annapolis Royal. Great service, good food in a safe environment.

The folks at the Garrison House were warm and very pleasant to talk to. We were in room 1, which was very nice and tastefully decorated. The location was great, as we parked once and were able to walk to the sites and shopping, which were all very close by.

We enjoyed staying at the garrison house in Annapolis Royal. The town itself is historic with the fort and gusrdens and waterfront. . There are some walking tours . Restaurants tend to close around 8:00 pm and the town is very quiet.

About 170 year old property. Good for its age but could use some updating. Owners were very nice. Food was excellent.

Quaint bed and breakfast right in town. Minutes from the pier and heritage gardens. Staff were super friendly and welcoming. The rooms are cozy and comfortable for a heritage building. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely stay at Garrison House Inn. We ate at their restaurant and had a fantastic meal with exceptional service. I highly recommend the French onion soup and the seafood pasta! The included breakfast surpassed our expectations as well.

Our stay at Garrison House Inn was very good. The staff were friendly and helpful. The Inn had great character and was very comfortable. The restaurant was closed on the night of our visit, but the central location of the Inn made it easy to find other options. The breakfast was very good and we loved the tea pot and homemade bread. The location, right across from historic Fort Anne, was great. We would stay again.

This is a very unique old Inn with lots of history. The new owners are enthusiastic and welcoming. We had a great room with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom looks like it has been upgraded recently and was very clean. They served a very nice full breakfast and were accommodating to different dietary needs. The Inn is situated close to Fort Anne and an easy walk to anywhere downtown. I would recommend this place to anyone staying in Annapolis Royal.

This INN is a must-visit, either for dining or accommodation. Under new ownership,
what was a great experience will probably be even better in the future. The hospitality that NS is known for is already present.

Beautiful old building. Lovely staff, good breakfast and comfortable beds. The hot water was a bit inconsistent, but this is likely a factor of being in an old building. All in all it was great for our New Years Eve getaway, and was esp good value for the price.

We had such a wonderful stay at the Garrison House Inn. A great location to walk from and visit the Fort and beautiful Annapolis Royal. The 5 course delicious « Theme Night » meal that we had, was one of our favourites all summer! Our hosts John and Sonya were very welcoming and gave us great conversation and fantastic recommendations for local sightseeing.

The staff here are amazing, the food delicious, easy to find, plenty of parking. The room we had was a bit small compared to others we saw, but comfortable. House keeping needs some help, as I don’t think they give you fresh towels after a guest had checked out. (Ours were a bit stinky)

Excellent location across the street from Fort Ann and easy walking to downtown areas. Our room was on the third floor and quite small hence our lowered rating. Excellent eating facilities and a delicious breakfast offered.

The staff was very friendly and the breakfast delicious. It was very quiet and the room was comfortable and very clean. Had a great sleep and ready to see more of beautiful Annapolis Royal! Loved the floors and the decor in the inn.

The Garrison was a nice quaint place to stay. Breakfast was delicious eith lots of choices. John was great abd Roz was a delight to talk to.

The rooms were average but some lightbulbs needed changing, toilet not secured to floor and not enough hot water.

Really enjoyed my stay here.
The property was clean and comfortable. Bed was also very comfortable. Staff was great and they have an excellent onsite restaurant.
Some of the room furnishings and trim could use a freshen up.
I would recommend this property if you like unique inns that give you something different from a mainstream hotel/motel.

Beautiful historical inn. The inn is well cared for and staff is the most pleasant people. Don’t come expecting all modern style it’s a well cared for historic inn I would highly recommend this location.

Room was smaller than expected and had dormers which I banged my head on a couple of times, bed was comfortable, shower stall was very small. There was an issue with the sink which was not their fault as they could not get a plumber on time. Breakfast was great and parking convenient.

It is a very old building, so it had a lot of very old building issues: super skinny and creaky/loud staircases so it was hard to carry heavy luggage up to the third floor, mold in the shower and bathroom, tiny room with angled ceilings so we kept hitting our head on it in both the main room and bathroom. No fridge in the room and no public ice machine so we had to ask staff for ice to keep our food cold. BUT the staff was very nice and very accommodating. The breakfast was nice. Location was great and the grounds were lovely.

Some creature comforts e.g. glasses in bathroom and access to power for electronics fell short.
Felt overpriced to us.
