Outstanding experience. The facilities, staff, service and breakfast...all top notch! Hue Riverside Villa has just been renovated (November 2024). Rooms are brand new with super views of the river. Beds are covered with plush, oversized comforters. Pillows are piled high. There's a terrace-level lap pool and a tree-shaded second-level porch for lounging. You have plenty of choices for breakfast. Everything is prepared to order. Riverside's staff, notably Quy and Hai, are super friendly, helpful suggesting restaurants and local travel, and skilled at arranging travel beyond Hue.

Beautiful little hotel, fabulous room overlooking the river, excellent breakfast with great choice. Staff were amazing, very friendly & helpful, gave us great advice about local eating places and helped organise a couple of trips out during our stay. Very close to walking street so ideal for a stroll around at night,

The sound of a chug boat in early hours of the morning. This is not the hotels fault however would have been nice to have been warned prior to staying, work was been carried out on the river

All the staff were absolutely amazing. Breakfast was fantastic with good range of choice. The location was great. We organised two trips through the staff. The first was a private boat tour with a family which was a fantastic experience. The couple were so so friendly, helpful and she was a fantastic cook! We thoroughly enjoyed our 4-5 journey visiting the sites. Our second trip was a private car that drove us from Hue to Hoi An. This was amazing value for money and our driver was incredibly knowledgeable. He stopped at several locations through the mountains that were breathtaking. We also stopped at a fishing village for coffee, lunch in Danang and several other stops. Most impressive was the 'city of ghosts' which wasn't even in our guide book. This guy was one in a million!

Absolutely delightful and welcoming hosts! They allowed us to check in early after we arrived via an overnight train (and had little sleep!). Breakfast was fabulous, all you can eat. They arranged for us a fantastic motorbike tour to Hoi An, as well as a local tour of the tombs. The latter didn't go very well because the driver went off-plan, resulting in us missing one of the tombs we had wanted to see. But the hosts were very apologetic and understanding and provided us a discount because of it. Having coffee/breakfast on the terrace area overlooking the river was so peaceful.

Entrance to alleyway can be hard to find first time return on own.
