The price for one night was eye wateringly expensive - more than the pensioners annual heating allowance - they wanted half again to check in 2 hours early!
I have never before been hassled at 8:30 on Sunday morning to be asked by housekeeping when we were leaving!

Staff were lovely at the hotel. Only 1 lift working, despite having 3 - long waits to use lift. Poor signage on the stairs leading to both reception and car park (very confusing)

It was a lovely big room but phone didn’t work so we had to use our mobile and only one lift worked so spent alot of time queuing or walking down three storey stairs

Kayleigh was super super helpful from the second we checked in. Nothing was too much hassle for her and answered all the questions we had. Very friendly service by Kayleigh. Room was a lot bigger than originally, more like a queen room rather than standard double. Very spacious.

This hotel is ideally positioned, right on the Royal Mile. Close to all the attractions, restaurants, shops and more! This was more important than little bits and pieces, like no slippers, room service which closed early etc. Overall I strongly recommend!

Hotel is in ideal location. Staff fabulous, and issue on check in was dealt with in exceptional manner. Clean, comfortable and very good breakfast. With choice of hotels in area, will never need to think about choosing again. Will always be Radisson Blu now.

Hotel is not bad i just expected more. Paid a little more to have spa area but it was more of a kiddy pool while we stayed. I discribe the hotel as "functional" not an experience to remember. The location and quitness remain the most attractive part of our stay. 👍

Great stay, the hotel is in a beautiful old building but the interior is very modern. The room was very nice and bright and the bed was comfy. It had all the amenities you will need! My room unfortunately was located right above the Globe bar and The Hive so it was pretty noisy at night. But i travel with earplugs so truly it was not a big deal for me. (Consider packing some just in case!)
The concierges were very nice and helpful. Breakfast service was excellent, a good variety of food to start your day. O had dinner at the restaurant a couple of times and enjoyed the food as well!
Excellent location right on the royal mile so you can explore, come back for a rest and keep going. Highly recommended!

Most of the staff were friendly and helpful. A couple of the men at front of house were less attentive and off-hand. The room and well appointed and clean, apart from a suspicious streak near the toilet flush which should have been noticed and cleaned off.

Very well appointed rooms and bathrooms. Nice views from 5th floor. Front desk staff (Archie) exceptional. Any request (xtra coffee, etc) immediately filled. Our room had no fridge, we asked for one, 20 minutes later it was installed. It’s like nothing was too much to ask. Very impressed

Everyone was so kind and helpful. Thank you for making an incredible stay. I thoroughly enjoyed the spa services as well. I was able to book a two hour spa service and it was wonderful. I’ll be back for sure!

I loved my stay at the Radisson Blu. Rooms were clean and well equipped. The best part of the hotel is the front desk staff. Each member took the time to help us with our stay , from helping to decide on a whiskey to bring home, to guiding us to the local area everyone we interacted with was great!

The location was right on the Royal Mile close to tourist attractions, restaurants and shopping. It is within walking distance to the Waverly train station and other transportation out of the city. The staff was helpful and friendly. The security was good as well.

Upon entering the hotel by the Manager , who was quite rude. We are very excited to come to the city and speak greeted poorly was quite sad. The rooms were average, And the Bathroom was tiny. Clean beds great bedding we luckily were at a room that turned inside facing other rooms so it was quiet. The breakfast area was standard self-serve. The other staff at the hotel were lovely, but the manager, as I said before was miserable, we will never be staying at this Radisson again, and I have stayed across the world .

I was told I could book breakfast at the front desk more cheaply than at the restaurant, and I did that one day. Another day they didn’t allow it. Otherwise, the staff was wonderful, the room was roomy and clean and the bed was comfortable. It was close to everything, too. I’d stay here again.

This is a fantasticly convenient place to stay in Edinburgh-you can walk everywhere
But the best thi about this here is the incredible service at reception, concierge and in the restaurant -kind, welcoming friendly and so helpful -
The rooms are clean and the beds large and comfortable-truthfully the hallways and common areas could do with a good scrub and deodorising but the convenience and great people outweigh that !

This hotel was perfectly located. It is right on the central bit of the Royal Mile, close to the train station and a million things to do. It is a busy area and the hotel did provide ear plugs in our room, but even with a nightclub outside my bedroom window (I was on the 2nd floor) I didn’t need them. The double windows kept out any street sound. The staff were super helpful, especially at check in when they couldn’t find my reservation at first, which I think was a Hotels.com glitch, not the fault of the hotel itself. (We arrived on Sunday, and on Monday afternoon I got a notification from the Hotels.com app: “Get ready for your stay in Edinburgh!” Thought, “that’s concerning” and tapped on it and the app correctly showed that our stay started on Sunday, but it was weird.)
