The Idlewyld Hotel is a charming venture if one is looking for something different from the sterile look and feeling of more the contemporary hotel. Elegance of an era now past is everywhere but it is amplified by an excellent, friendly staff; this best describes your first and lasting impression. If you are in need of a quiet time away, then look no further because, not only was the stay much more than we expected, the adventure will be memorable.

Came to London for my wife’s birthday and this place is fantastic! It was clean and the rooms were spacious. The courtyard was beautiful and relaxing. The breakfast was the best I’ve ever had at any hotel I’ve ever stayed at! (I stay at 30-40 hotels a year). I’m so glad I booked this stay. Loved every minute of it. Wish we would have checked out the spa but maybe next time. I also want to say, the neighborhood it’s located in is great! We went for a walk and it is definitely a safe area. Lots of others were on nightly walks as well.

We had a lovely night away as a couple. Close to Wortley village that boasts a cute cafe and many shops and restaurants.
Dinner was fabulous! Our spa massage was nice and the staff at the front were very accommodating.

This hotel is quaint and charming. It was built in the 1800s and the boutique style reflects that. From the floor to the ceiling, there's so much to take in. The staff are exceptional and always in a good mood. Leah checked us in and was always greeting us with a smile, suggestion or just making the trip a little better. We are breakfast both days at the restaurant. It was delicious with top notch service. Would highly recommend this hotel for all it's charm!

The hotel was beautiful and clean and conveniently located. Parking and check-in was quick and easy. The room was great as well as a very good breakfast. I highly recommend this hotel.

This beautiful property offers a quiet, upscale experience that we appreciate. The included breakfast is high quality. The front desk staff and the server who took care of us during breakfast were friendly and gracious. We will definitely stay at this lovely inn again.

This was our first time staying here. Typically we visit London, Ontario a couple of times each year and we decided to spend 3 nights at this Inn.
The breakfast each morning was enjoyable in a nice environment. Ample seating and it was espcially lovely having breakfast outside where we could view the lovely gardens.
All staff are super friendly and we definately will be coming back.

This is a special place to stay in London, Ontario. It seems like an old estate in the middle of a garden neighbourhood a stone's throw from downtown.

Everything about this property was 5 star. The staff were amazing, friendly and incredibly helpful. The room was super clean and the bed was the most comfortable hotel bed I have ever slept on. The buffet breakfast included was great, not to mention the wonderful wait staff. Would definitely stay here again.
