Front desk personnel were welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect for my sightseeing walks around Santa Barbara. Would certainly go back to this hotel again.

A comfortable one night stay.
Really friendly, helpful staff.
A 15 minute walk to State Street.
Further away from the beach than we had expected.
A comfortable bed. Well equipped kitchen. Good bathroom amenities. Complimentary cheese and wine at 4.30pm was a nice bonus as was the complimentary bottle of sparkling wine in our room.

I was disappointed to realize this was more of a motel than a hotel. It was certainly not reflected in the price. But the place was clean. Customer service was excellent. The wine and cheese set up in the afternoon was a wonderful bonus. The coffee was good and the breakfast was okay. Location was excellent, just a quick three block walk to the beach, and a half mile from the funk zone.

Great little inn. Quiet and cozy. Our room was surprisingly spacious and very clean. Sufficient but limited parking. Love the little courtyard area. Reminded me of apartment living but without all the extra noise and traffic.

Arrived and were pleasantly surprised when the receptionist told us we had a free room upgrade. It was a lovely spacious room with separate kitchen and large bathroom. We only stopped for one night so the Free bike hire was great as it enabled us to see much more than we would have. Free breakfast was simple but very fresh and free wine and cheese at 6 was an added bonus. The staff were really helpful and are a credit to the hotel, which is conveniently located with short walk to beach and local shops.

The outdoor patio furniture outside our room was dirty -stains on the fabric that no one could sit on for fear of staining one's clothing. $700 a night for this? We got hosed!

Very nice California style (cars parking outside room) hotel. I was greeted warmly & everything was explained fully. My Queen room with patio was very nice, clean, everything you could ask for. The breakfast that was provided was very nice with an "upgraded" continental style, eating on the patio was a +. The small pool was welcome after sightseeing. I would stay again for sure.

We like our room and was very comfortable. The only thing was the tile floors in our room didn't seem to have been mop. We had to wear our shoe or sock or our feet would be black.

The property is in dire need of a remodel. The shower drain was not working. I called the front desk and they stated they would see of maintenance was still available as it was past 9pm. The clerk then hung up the phone and never called us back. We called the from desk again and he stated maintenance had left for the day. He did not immediately ask us if we wanted a new room, we had to suggest it. He then asked 3 times if we had used any of the amenities, we said yes of course. We did try to take a shower. After all that we were moved to a new room. This was a much smaller room with a musty smell. The bed was caving in the middle. At this point we were just too tired to be moved again. The breakfast could offer more options as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and have no complaints! The courtyard was beautiful & tranquil, the rooms were spacious with comfy beds, and everyone there was so friendly! We only got to enjoy the evening hospitality one evening because of our schedule, but that was a nice bonus, as was seeing the pool and jacuzzi getting cleaned every morning! I highly recommend staying here! =)

Arrived to find we had been given an upgrade to a king room with a full kitchen and patio shared with one room. Room was recently renovated and clean, bed extremely comfortable. Staff was great, providing helpful restaurant reservations and walking directions to the funk zone, Pershing Park, harbor and beach. Continental breakfast was as advertised. Only negative was that the hotel was farther from the beach and harbor than expected given the name, but still in easy walking distance.

Staff was friendly. For the price I think our room needs some updating. No dresser in room which made it hard to unpack. Used tv stand for clothes. This would have been fine at a lower price. Pool area was nice

Our room had a sliding door that led to a patio that extended to a nice garden walkway. Also, the pool and jacuzzi area were surrounded by beautiful palm trees and plants. West Beach and the harbor were within walking distance! This inn was the perfect summer vacation stay for our family!!! We plan to be back!

We loved the Inn and will definitely stay again! Our kids loved the pool and the location was awesome. Only feedback would be that it would be great to have a drying rod for towels and suits in the bathroom, and a fan in the bathroom for foggy mirrors etc. With tel he beach and pool, a place to hang wet suits would be ideal. Service was super friendly and very cute and lush grounds. Great breakfast in the morning! Coffee was bad but hey, that’s small in the grand scheme. Thanks!

We stayed here and discovered bed bugs while ironing on the mattress. We have video and pictures. When we reported this to the front desk, they rudely dismissed our concerns, claiming uncertainty about what we found.

We had an enjoyable stay at the inn. Short walk to the restaurants and bars in the funk zone, the pier, and the Amtrak station. The stay included light breakfast options in the morning and a wine bar in the evening. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Santa Barbara.

When we got to the hotel, the sheets were wet and the room smelled like cigarettes. Decided not to stay at this hotel, wanted to get a refund, but the manager was not available. After trying a few times to request full refund, they refused and kept $260 to themselves. Stay away

Great cute hotel super nice staff, rooms and beds are comfy, pool small but well taken care of. Carpet could be changed but I am sure they have cleaned it. Lots of restaurants nearby and could be walked to. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise a bit more than we were expecting

This place is so close to great. But sheets seemed dirty and dingy, no housekeeping unless you persistently beg, and carpets were disgusting. Rest of the family didn’t notice and enjoyed the pool, hot tub, wine and cheese happy hour and breakfast. So close, a few updates and it would be amazing with the fun walkable location.
