Beautiful hotel. Sadly I had an issue sleeping as the hotel is located on a busy street. Window soundproofing could be better so won’t use the hotel again for business.
I would use the hotel again for a personal stay when a lie in is an option!

Yes, of all the hotels I have stayed in recently the George Hotel Limerick definitely is up there with the best.
All the small details like the chocolates waiting on us upon arrival to basic things like sewing kits etc etc...
Got the nod of approval from my wife which is always good.
We stayed in a triple room a double and a single for my daughter.
The only thing i woukd say would be the double was a tad small for us as we are used to having king size beds but was fine.

I advised the hotel when I made the booking that i have a scent allergy, and asked if that would be a problem. I received no response, so I figured it would be okay. If they told me that they use strong perfume in the lobby and corridors, I would have stayed elsewhere. A scent allergy is a medical condition that can give me migraine headaches. The hotel ignored my enquiry, making me pretty miserable. I was able to keep the scent out of my room by stuffing toilet paper around the door. Otherwise, the hotel is modern, clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly.

We had a room facing the inner courtyard. So a nice and quiet stay in the middle of the city. Amenities were nice. Nice bar and restaurant on site. Car park less than a 5 minute walk. You may get a better price if you book direct.

Had a nice stay. Booked a family room and I was perfect for 3 adults. Only downfall was my paid parking ticket did not work at garage and I had to pay to get the car out.

Parking very close and hotel offers validation. Very active night life outside that created a great deal of noise. It wasn’t too bad with the window closed, but without air conditioning in the summer, that can be really warm in the room. One note about limerick for newbies like us, all the nicer restaurants stop serving food at 9pm - so get in town early or eat on the road before 7-8 pm!

Very noisy especially from 10 pm to 2.00am made sleeping difficult
Didn’t like putting room key into lift felt it was tracking us
Housekeeper knocked on our door and checked our room every day between 4-5 just as we arrived back to rest
before dinner how did she know we were back

My wife and I stayed for one night and this place was beyond amazing! From its clean establishment and great hosts to the complimentary breakfast I can go on and on nothing but great things to say not one complaint! Highly recommend to everyone! Stay here when in Limerick!

Travelling with a young child, I thoroughly enjoyed the stay. All of the staff we encountered were very friendly. The hotel catered for all food allergies in a very open and upfront way, making ordering very easy. Located in the city, parking is very convenient in the nearby carparks, with a discount available via the hotel

A 1 night stay to visit the castle. Comfortable , modern hotel with coffee making facility and bottled water. Friendly staff and good wifi. Good location in town centre. Nice restaurant for dinner though I did nt try the breakfast. Not cheap but possibly still the best value option in Limerick. Happy with choice.

We stayed for 9 days and had a wonderful experience! The staff was amazing, as well as the restaurant inside the hotel. The only thing that was a bummer, our room didn’t have AC and we were up on the 6th floor. Overall, 10/10.

I have stayed here many times and it always has a nice atmosphere, tasty food, great location with parking close by and the rooms are very comfortable. This time I was upgraded to a beautiful suite with a balcony and it was superb. I look forward to coming back to visit again.

The hotel is in the middle of the shopping area, but it's in quite area where you can sleep and relax with calm and silents. Staff was very good , despite the hotel isn't new has all confort , it's clean. Bathroom large and confortable, space enought for two people with a comfortable armchair and a table. Bed clean a confortable. Very recommended four couple and family

The hotel was in a good location and the staff and room was good. The only problem was that there was no air conditioning and so on the 5th floor it was hot in the room. We had to keep the window open, and being on a very busy street it was very loud all night and even with the window open it was never below 78 degrees all night.

Hotel building, bar area, breakfast, location were all good. Unfortunately, it was let down by the quality of our room. We found it to be rather shabby, worn. Also, the room was very cold and the noise from an external aircon unit disrupted our sleep.

We had a lovely stay. The beds are super comfy which made for really good sleep for us. The location is ideal as it is a short walk to town but you aren't in the middle of the hustle and bustle.
