Only issue was parking. I went in Nov and it wasnt crowded but i can only imagine the traffic mess trying to park during peak season. Otherwise, i could not be happier with the Sea Crest. Very clean and cozy!

Family of 4, 2 kids, 2 adults. King with whirlpool oceanview was perfect for the layout.
During the weekdays it was quiet at night & during the weekends, it was quite the happening spot with the bar raging until past 11pm.
Warm indoor pools, cool outdoor pools. Breakfast cafe open in the mornings, in case the room coffee machine isnt your style. Loved our kitchen & made full use out of it!

Check in was ok. Hotel is very old and outdated. Needs major updates. Room was on the side of the building so very limited ocean view. Beds were terribly uncomfortable. House keeping tossed a bag with towels on our bed and never cleaned room or take the used towels. Parking was across the street but no too bad. Overwhelming smell of marijuana going to elevator. Loud banging during the night that woke us up. Sounded like someone was throwing items in a dumpster. Loud vehicles late at night in drop off parking right under our room. We book on hotels.com often. I will never stay in the Sea Crest again and I go to myrtle beach every year. Please drop there rating as it is not a nice place to stay.

While the property and particularly the room was a bit dated, it was very clean. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Overall a great value for the cost.

It was the perfect place located in walking distance of every great attraction that my wife and I needed and I loved the fact that you guys had a fitness center!! Starbucks as well as the convenience store on site was a great addition for us and you guys were so polite to us and we will be booking another great stay with you guys again soon!!!

Amazing, beautiful resort with many pools and of course the ocean. Close to attractions and airport. Wish they had more food options onsite. Drinks and coffee are a little pricey. Staff very friendly. I came early October. This is offseason so not as crowded and weather was warm and just right. I will come here again!!! Great king ocean view room rate!!

After reading the not so good reviews we were a little skeptical of our initial booking but upon arrival we have a VERY great experience with the front staff, out room was available when we got there, the only suggestions about the room were they need a de humidifier in the rooms due to the humidity of the outside air and the constant running AC it felt a bit damp at times. Our flight was a bit later in the day than checkout time at 11am but they stoted out luggage for us in a locked separate office.
Drinks were expensive and added gratuities to the drinks as well. Pools were amazing and very clean!
Would stay here again definitely
P.s. as for the "roaches" mentioned in other bad reviews we didnt see any in the room , outside there were 2 large ones but may have been the palmetto bugs that look like a roach

The place was amazing with lots of pool to choose from. We love the Indoor pool and jacuzzi where you can hang out once it gets cold outside. An easy access to walk to the beach is a plus. The pool closing time at 11:00 is great as kids can really enjoy more time if you checked out late. Live entertainment with DJ is good, could have been better if choice of music are varieties like old and new and difft genre, or add some Salsa at least which is a hit now. The kids pool with the frog needs to be clean with mold as the steps after you slide is so moldy and slippery, worried that one day a kid can bang the head at the end of the slide. Other than that, I would say we had a great time and actually promoting the place to friends and family with kids because the water park within is awesome as well. We will be back with friends before the end of the season definitely..

The guy at the front desk was very nice he was helpful told me things to do he went above and beyond his duty so I would recommend sea crest 100% to anyone it’s very quite clean an plenty of room just everything that you would need while on vacation

Our room was nice but the beds are very hard and it does have a parking garage but it's not full size vehicle friendly not to mention it's across the street so loading and unloading with a lot of other people is a pain. Other than that it was a nice stay.

I was told there was plenty of parking when I called I explained both my sister and I were limited in our walking ability there was not. You had to walk too far just to find smoking area and wasn’t any that were covered in case of rain,staff was very rude and not at all helpful.I did online check in asked for extra towels and pillows didn’t get either when I went and asked about parking and towels was expected to carry my own up and when I did not only got half of what I asked for. Took maintenance quite awhile both times to come and fix things also took two calls would not recommend this place to anyone

The resort was very clean. My room was very clean. The pools were kept clean. Front desk and cleaning staff very nice and helpful. The grill area was a vibe. I highly recommend this resort.

It was ok. For the money i was disappointed pool arears were absolutely disgusting. Room was decant good ac poor design tho ac blowed directly on both beds.. good water pressure in shower. Toilet ran the entire time i was there.

The customer service was great but housekeeping never came to clean the room once and there were roaches in the hallway and in our hotel room we went to the front desk she gave me $50 in credits and moved our room and than there were roaches in that room crawling up the wall.

We had a suite with the double beds, full kitchen and pullout bed. Our room had damage to the walls all throughout, the lamp was leaning over against the wall broken, the couch and chair were terribly stained and the kitchen and bathroom were dirty and had food smears on the sink, refrigerator and stove. I brought it to the attention of the front desk and was told it was normal wear, and was offered another room in very similar condition. The pool area is great, with plenty for the kids to do and the beach is right there, but the suite was pretty awful. The staff was also pretty unprofessional. We asked laundry for a couple of pool towels because all of what was out was used and wet, and the lady was a bit snippy, asking “What do you need more towels for?”, as if it isn’t an oceanfront resort with pools and people that may need to dry off.
Overall, I would have definitely rather paid the extra to get a a nicer facility with friendlier people, but our usual resort was all booked.
